Então o rei disse: “Deem a criança à mulher que deseja que ele viva, pois ela é a mãe!”

Entonces el rey respondió, y dijo: Dad á aquélla el hijo vivo, y no lo matéis: ella es su madre.

Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof.

Then the king answered, “Give the first woman the living child, and definitely do not kill him. She is his mother.”
