Reinaba, pues, Salomón sobre todo Israel.

Tenía también Salomón doce intendentes repartidos en todo Israel, los cuales proveían de víveres al rey y a su palacio. Cada uno de éstos suministraba durante un mes al año todo lo necesario.

Y tenía Salomón doce gobernadores sobre todo Israel, los cuales mantenían al rey y á su casa. Cada uno de ellos estaba obligado á abastecer por un mes en el año.

And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

Bengaber en Ramot de Galaad, tenía las villas de Avot-Jair, hijo de Manasés en Galaad, y gobernaba todo el país de Argod, que está en Basán, a sesenta poblaciones grandes y muradas, cuyas puertas se cerraban con barras de bronce;

Gaber, hijo de Huri, en la tierra de Galaad, en la tierra que fue de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, y de Og, rey de Basán; y cuidaba de todo lo de aquel país.

Judá e Israel formaban un pueblo innumerable como las arenas del mar; y comían y bebían con alegría.

And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

People of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, sent by all kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.
