Tu sabes como meu pai Davi não pôde edificar casa ao nome do SENHOR seu Deus, pelas guerras que lhe cercaram, até que o SENHOR pôs seus inimigos sob as plantas de seus pés.
Tú sabes como mi padre David no pudo edificar casa al nombre de Jehová su Dios, por las guerras que le cercaron, hasta que Jehová puso sus enemigos bajo las plantas de sus pies.
Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
“You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the wars which were around him on every side, until the LORD put his enemies under the soles of his feet.
Agora o SENHOR meu Deus me deu repouso por todas as partes; que nem há adversários, nem mal encontro.
Ahora Jehová mi Dios me ha dado reposo por todas partes; que ni hay adversarios, ni mal encuentro.

Eu, portanto, determinei agora edificar casa ao nome do SENHOR meu Deus, como o SENHOR o falou a Davi meu pai, dizendo: Teu filho, que eu porei em lugar teu em teu trono, ele edificará casa a meu nome.

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

Manda, pois, agora que me cortem cedros do Líbano; e meus servos estarão com os teus, e eu te darei por teus servos o salário que tu disseres: porque tu sabes bem que ninguém há entre nós que saiba lavrar a madeira como os sidônios.

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.

E quando Hirão ouviu as palavras de Salomão, alegrou-se em grande maneira, e disse: Bendito seja hoje o SENHOR, que deu filho sábio a Davi sobre este povo tão grande.
Y como Hiram oyó las palabras de Salomón, holgóse en gran manera, y dijo: Bendito sea hoy Jehová, que dió hijo sabio á David sobre este pueblo tan grande.
And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.

E enviou Hirão a dizer a Salomão: Ouvi o que me mandaste a dizer: eu farei tudo o que te satisfizer acerca da madeira de cedro, e a madeira de faia.
Y envió Hiram á decir á Salomón: He oído lo que me mandaste á decir: yo haré todo lo que te pluguiere acerca de la madera de cedro, y la madera de haya.
And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.

Meus servos a levarão desde o Líbano à mar; e eu a porei em balsas pelo mar até o lugar que tu me assinalares, e ali se desatará, e tu a tomarás: e tu farás minha vontade em dar de comer à minha família.

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
