E vi fece intagliare de' Cherubini, e delle palme, e de' fiori aperti, e li coperse d'oro apposto sottilmente sopra gl'intagli.

Y entalló en ellas querubines y palmas y botones de flores, y cubriólas de oro ajustado á las entalladuras.

And he carved thereon cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work.
