14Este era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre era de Tiro, un artesano que trabajaba el bronce. Hiram tenía una gran experiencia, entendiendo y conociendo toda clase de trabajos en bronce. Acudió al rey Salomón y llevó a cabo todo lo que el rey le pidió.

14Hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Nephtalí, y su padre había sido de Tiro: trabajaba él en bronce, lleno de sabiduría y de inteligencia y saber en toda obra de metal. Este pues vino al rey Salomón, é hizo toda su obra.

14He was a widow’s son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
