He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.

And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.

And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken to wife, like unto this porch.

Todos estos edificios se hicieron, por dentro y por fuera, desde la base hasta las vigas, con piedras cortadas y desde el exterior hasta el gran atrio, de piedras costosas, cortadas a la medida.

Todas aquellas obras fueron de piedras de precio, cortadas y aserradas con sierras según las medidas, así por de dentro como por de fuera, desde el cimiento hasta los remates, y asimismo por de fuera hasta el gran atrio.

All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the great court.

Era hijo de una viuda de la tribu de Neftalí, y su padre era un hombre de Tiro, obrero de bronce. Estaba lleno de sabiduría y conocimiento y un trabajador experto en bronce. Vino al rey Salomón e hizo toda su obra por él.

For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.

And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.

E hizo ornamentos de granadas; y dos líneas de granadas alrededor de la reja, que cubren las coronas de los pilares, las dos coronas de la misma manera.

And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.

And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.

There were capitals above also on the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network. There were two hundred pomegranates in rows around the other capital.

Puso los pilares en la entrada del Templo, nombrando el de la derecha Jaquin, y el de la izquierda Boaz.

And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.

And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.

Y sobre aquellas cintas que estaban entre las molduras, figuras de leones, y de bueyes, y de querubines; y sobre las molduras de la basa, así encima como debajo de los leones y de los bueyes, había unas añadiduras de bajo relieve.

And on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.

and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.

And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.

Its opening within the capital and above was a cubit. Its opening was round like the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also on its opening were engravings, and their panels were square, not round.

And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.

Y había cuatro placas angulares en los cuatro ángulos de cada base, formando parte de la estructura de la base.

And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.

Y en la parte superior de la base había un recipiente redondo, de medio codo de altura;

And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.

En los espacios de los lados planos y en los marcos de ellos, hizo diseños de seres alados, leones y palmeras, con bordes de guirnalda alrededor.

For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.

Then made he ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths: and every laver was four cubits: and upon every one of the ten bases one laver.

Y puso las bases junto a la casa, cinco en el lado derecho y cinco en el izquierdo; y puso el gran recipiente de agua en el lado derecho de la casa, hacia el este, mirando hacia el sur.

The two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;

And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was,

Solomon made all the vessels that were in the LORD’s house: the golden altar and the table that the show bread was on, of gold;

Y los candelabros para las luces, cinco en el lado derecho y cinco en el izquierdo enfrente del lugar santísimo, de oro puro; y las flores y las luces y todos los instrumentos de oro;

Y cinco candeleros de oro purísimo á la mano derecha, y otros cinco á la izquierda, delante del oráculo; con las flores, y las lámparas, y despabiladeras de oro;

And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,

and the lamp stands, five on the right side and five on the left, in front of the inner sanctuary, of pure gold; and the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;

Y las copas y las tijeras y los platos y las cucharas y los incensarios, todas de oro; y las clavijas sobre las que giraban las puertas, las puertas de la casa interior, el lugar más sagrado, y las puertas del Templo, todas de oro.

Asimismo los cántaros, vasos, tazas, cucharillas, é incensarios, de oro purísimo; también de oro los quiciales de las puertas de la casa de adentro, del lugar santísimo, y los de las puertas del templo.

And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple.

the cups, the snuffers, the basins, the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.

Así, toda la obra que el rey Salomón había hecho en la casa del Señor estaba completa. Entonces Salomón tomó las cosas santas que David su padre había dado, la plata y el oro y todas las vasijas, y las puso en los almacenes de la casa del Señor.

Así se acabó toda la obra que dispuso hacer el rey Salomón para la casa de Jehová. Y metió Salomón lo que David su padre había dedicado, es á saber, plata, y oro, y vasos, y púsolo todo en guarda en las tesorerías de la casa de Jehová.

So was ended all the work that king Solomon made for the house of the LORD. And Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated; even the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, did he put among the treasures of the house of the LORD.

Thus all the work that King Solomon did in the LORD’s house was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated—the silver, the gold, and the vessels—and put them in the treasuries of the LORD’s house.
