aber der HERR ließ meinem Vater David verkünden: ›Daß du den Wunsch gehegt hast, meinem Namen ein Haus zu bauen, an diesem Vorhaben hast du wohl getan;

Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;

And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
