Os querubins foram feitos de tal maneira que as suas asas abertas cobriam o lugar onde a arca foi colocada. Portanto, agora as asas dos querubins protegiam a arca e os varais que serviam para transportála.

Porque los querubines tenían extendidas las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y así cubrían los querubines el arca y sus varas por encima.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
