Entonces Salomón envió a todos los hombres responsables de Israel, a todos los jefes de las tribus y a los jefes de familia de los hijos de Israel, para que vinieran a él a Jerusalén para trasladar el cofre del pacto del Señor fuera de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.
ENTONCES juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y á todas las cabezas de las tribus, y á los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalem para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.
Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.”
Luego, volviendo la cara, el rey dio una bendición a todos los hombres de Israel; y todos estaban de pie juntos.
Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel; y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.
And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

Desde el día en que saqué a mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, ningún pueblo en todas las tribus de Israel ha sido marcado por mí para la construcción de una casa para el lugar de descanso de mi nombre; pero hice la selección de David para ser rey sobre mi pueblo Israel.

Ahora estaba en el corazón de David mi padre el poner una templo para el nombre del Señor, el Dios de Israel.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.
“Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.
Pero el Señor le dijo a David mi padre: Hiciste bien en tener en tu corazón el deseo de hacer un templo para mi nombre;
Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;
And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.
But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
Pero tú mismo no serás el constructor de mi templo; Pero tu hijo, la descendencia de tu cuerpo, él es quien levantará un templo a mi nombre.
Empero tú no edificarás la casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa á mi nombre.
Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

Y él Señor a cumplido su palabra; porque he tomado el lugar de mi padre David en el trono del reino de Israel, como el Señor dio su palabra; y he hecho un templo para el nombre del Señor, el Dios de Israel.
Y Jehová ha verificado su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.
And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

En él he hecho un lugar para él cofre del pacto, en el cual está el acuerdo que el Señor hizo con nuestros padres, cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.
Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.
And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

Entonces Salomón tomó su lugar ante el altar del Señor, estando todos los hombres de Israel presentes y extendiendo sus manos hacia el cielo,
Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,
And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

Dijo: Señor, Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú en el cielo ni en la tierra; manteniendo la fe y la misericordia inmutables para sus siervos, que te sirven con todo su corazón.
Dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti de todo su corazón;
And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
and he said, “LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants who walk before you with all their heart;
Y has guardado la palabra que diste a tu siervo David, mi padre; con tu boca lo dijiste y con tu mano lo has hecho realidad este día.
Que has guardado á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: dijístelo con tu boca, y con tu mano lo has cumplido, como aparece este día.
Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.
who has kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is today.
Ahora, Señor, Dios de Israel, deja que tu palabra a tu siervo David, mi padre, se haga realidad cuando dijiste: “Nunca estarás sin un hombre que ocupe su lugar en el trono del Reino de Israel, si solo tus hijos presten atención a sus caminos, caminando delante de mí como tú lo has hecho.
Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.
Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.
Now therefore, may LORD, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’
Ahora, oh Dios de Israel, es mi oración que hagas realidad tu palabra que dijiste a tu siervo David, mi padre.

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.
“Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.
¿Pero es realmente posible que Dios pueda ser alojado en la tierra? mira, el cielo y el cielo de los cielos no son lo suficientemente anchos para ser tu lugar de descanso; ¡Cuánto menos este templo que he hecho!

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

Aun así, atiende a la oración de tu siervo, Señor Dios, a su oración y súplica; Escucha el clamor y la oración que tu siervo te envía hoy.
Con todo, tú atenderás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo propicio el clamor y oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti:
Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant and for his supplication, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;
Para que tus ojos estén abiertos a esta casa noche y día, a este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí; Escuchando la oración que tu siervo haga hacia este lugar.
Que estén tus ojos abiertos de noche y de día sobre esta casa, sobre este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí; y que oigas la oración que tu siervo hará en este lugar.
That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there;’ to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.
Escucha las oraciones de tu siervo y las oraciones de tu pueblo Israel, cuando hacen sus oraciones, dirigiéndose a este lugar; escucha en el cielo tu lugar de residencia, y perdona.
Oye pues la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oraren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu habitación, desde los cielos: que oigas y perdones.
And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.
Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
Si un hombre hace mal a su prójimo, y tiene que prestar juramento, y se presenta ante su altar para prestar juramento en esta casa:
Cuando alguno hubiere pecado contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa;
If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:
“If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house,
Deja que tu oído esté abierto en el cielo, y sé el juez de tus siervos, dando tu decisión contra el malhechor, para que el castigo por sus pecados caiga sobre su cabeza; y por tu decisión, guardando del mal al que no ha hecho nada malo.
Tú oirás desde el cielo, y obrarás, y juzgarás á tus siervos, condenando al impío, tornando su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo para darle conforme á su justicia.
Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
Cuando tu pueblo Israel es vencido en la guerra, por su pecado contra ti; si se vuelven a ti nuevamente, en honor a tu nombre, haciendo oraciones para ti y pidiendo tu gracia en esta casa:
Cuando tu pueblo Israel hubiere caído delante de sus enemigos, por haber pecado contra ti, y á ti se volvieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren, y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa;
When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:
“When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy because they have sinned against you, if they turn again to you and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house,
Escucha en el cielo y que el pecado de su pueblo Israel tenga perdón, y hazlo volver a la tierra que le diste a sus antepasados.
Oyelos tú en los cielos, y perdona el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y vuélvelos á la tierra que diste á sus padres.
Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.
Cuando el cielo está cerrado y no hay lluvia, debido a su pecado contra ti; y oren con la cara girada hacia este lugar, honrando tu nombre y apartándose de su pecado cuando tú los aflijas,
Cuando el cielo se cerrare, y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los hubieres afligido;
When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:
“When the sky is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and confess your name, and turn from their sin when you afflict them,
Escucha en el cielo, para que el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, tenga perdón, cuando les aclares el buen camino por el cual deben ir; y envía lluvia a tu tierra, la cual has dado a tu pueblo por su herencia.
Tú oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, enseñándoles el buen camino en que anden; y darás lluvias sobre tu tierra, la cual diste á tu pueblo por heredad.
Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
Si no hay alimento en la tierra, o si hay enfermedad, o si los frutos de la tierra se dañan por el calor o el agua, la langosta o el gusano; si sus ciudades son rodeadas por sus atacantes; Cualquier problema, cualquier enfermedad:
Cuando en la tierra hubiere hambre, ó pestilencia, ó tizoncillo, ó niebla, ó langosta, ó pulgón: si sus enemigos los tuvieren cercados en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;
If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;
“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,
Cualquiera que sea la oración o la petición de tu gracia, la hace cualquier hombre, o todo tu pueblo Israel, cualquiera que sea su problema, cuyas manos se extienden a esta casa:
Toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga de su corazón, y extendiere sus manos á esta casa;
What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,
Oye, en el cielo, tu lugar donde habitas, actuando con misericordia. y dale a cada hombre cuyo corazón secreto está abierto para ti, la recompensa de todos sus caminos; para ti, pues solo tu, tienes conocimiento de los corazones de todos los hijos de los hombres:
Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y perdonarás, y obrarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, cuyo corazón tú conoces; (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres;)
Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)
then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);
Para que puedan adorarte todos los días de su vida en la tierra que diste a nuestros padres.
Para que te teman todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste á nuestros padres.
That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

Y en cuanto al hombre de una tierra extraña, que no es de tu pueblo Israel; cuando viene de un país lejano por la gloria de tu nombre:
Asimismo el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu nombre,
Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake;
“Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake
Porque ellos tendrán noticias de tu gran nombre y tu mano fuerte y tu brazo extendido; cuando venga a hacer su oración, dirigiéndose a esta casa:
(Porque oirán de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido;) y viniere á orar á esta casa;
(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;
(for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house,
Escucha, en el cielo, tu lugar donde habitas, y dale su deseo, cualquiera que sea; para que todos los pueblos de la tierra tengan conocimiento de tu nombre, adorándote como lo hace tu pueblo Israel, y para que vean que este templo que he levantado se invoca tu nombre.
Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y harás conforme á todo aquello por lo cual el extranjero hubiere á ti clamado: para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan tu nombre, y te teman, como tu pueblo Israel, y entiendan que tu nombre es invocado sobre esta casa que yo edifiqué.
Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

Si tu gente sale a la guerra contra sus atacantes, por cualquier razón que los hayas enviado, si hacen su oración al Señor, vuelven sus rostros a esta ciudad tuya y a esta casa que he hecho para Tu nombre;
Si tu pueblo saliere en batalla contra sus enemigos por el camino que tú los enviares, y oraren á Jehová hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste, y hacia la casa que yo edifiqué á tu nombre,

Y si piensan, en la tierra donde están prisioneros, se vuelven hacia ti y te claman en oración en esa tierra, y dicen: Somos pecadores, hemos hecho el mal.

Y con todo su corazón y su alma se han vuelto ustedes, en la tierra de los que los tomaron prisioneros, y oran, volviendo sus ojos a esta tierra que diste a sus antepasados, y hacia la ciudad que escogiste, y del templo que hice para tu nombre:
Y si se convirtieren á ti de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, en la tierra de sus enemigos que los hubieren llevado cautivos, y oraren á ti hacia su tierra, que tú diste á sus padres, hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste y la casa que yo he edificado á tu nombre;

Escucha su oración y su clamor en el cielo, lugar donde habitas, y defiende su causa;

Porque son tu pueblo y tu heredad, que sacaste de enmedio de Egipto, de la chimenea de fundición;

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

Deja que tus ojos estén abiertos a las súplicas de tu siervo y a la súplicas de tu pueblo Israel, escuchándolos cuando su clamor llegue a ti.
Que tus ojos estén abiertos á la oración de tu siervo, y á la plegaria de tu pueblo Israel, para oirlos en todo aquello por lo que te invocaren:
That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

Porque los separaste de todos los pueblos de la tierra, para que sean tu herencia, como dijiste por tu siervo Moisés, cuando sacaste a nuestros antepasados de Egipto, oh Señor Dios.
Pues que tú los apartaste para ti por tu heredad de todos los pueblos de la tierra, como lo dijiste por mano de Moisés tu siervo, cuando sacaste á nuestros padres de Egipto, oh Señor Jehová.
For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

Luego, después de hacer todas estas oraciones y súplicas al Señor, Salomón se levantó de sus rodillas ante el altar del Señor, donde sus manos se habían extendido en oración al cielo;
Y fué, que como acabó Salomón de hacer á Jehová toda esta oración y súplica, levantóse de estar de rodillas delante del altar de Jehová con sus manos extendidas al cielo;
And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

Alabado sea el Señor que ha dado descanso a su pueblo Israel, como él les dio su palabra para hacer; cada palabra de todo su juramento, que hizo por medio de Moisés su siervo, se ha hecho realidad.
Bendito sea Jehová, que ha dado reposo á su pueblo Israel, conforme á todo lo que él había dicho; ninguna palabra de todas sus promesas que expresó por Moisés su siervo, ha faltado.
Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

Ahora, él Señor nuestro Dios esté con nosotros como lo estuvo con nuestros padres; que nunca se aleje de nosotros ni nos abandone;

Volviendo nuestros corazones a él mismo, guiándonos a seguir todos sus caminos, a guardar sus órdenes y sus leyes y sus decisiones, que dio a nuestros antepasados.
Incline nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos, y guardemos sus mandamientos y sus estatutos y sus derechos, los cuales mandó á nuestros padres.

Y estas, mis palabras, las palabras de mi oración al Señor, sean delante del Señor nuestro Dios día y noche, para que pueda hacer justicia a su siervo y a su pueblo Israel, día tras día según sea necesario.

Para que todos los pueblos de la tierra vean que el Señor es Dios, y no hay otro.

That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

Entonces dejen que sus corazones estén sin pecado delante del Señor nuestro Dios, caminando en sus leyes y guardando sus órdenes como en este día.
Sea pues perfecto vuestro corazón para con Jehová nuestro Dios, andando en sus estatutos, y guardando sus mandamientos, como el día de hoy.
Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

Ahora, el rey y todo Israel con él, ofrecieron sacrificios al Señor.

El mismo día, el rey santificó la mitad de la plaza abierta frente a la casa del Señor, ofreciendo allí la ofrenda quemada y la ofrenda de cereales y la grasa de las ofrendas de paz; porque no había lugar en el altar de bronce del Señor para las ofrendas quemadas y las ofrendas de cereales y la grasa de las ofrendas de paz.
Aquel mismo día santificó el rey el medio del atrio que estaba delante de la casa de Jehová: porque ofreció allí los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos; por cuanto el altar de bronce que estaba delante de Jehová era pequeño, y no cupieran en él los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos.
The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

Entonces Salomón y todo Israel con él, celebró una reunión muy grande porque la gente se había reunido desde el camino hacia Hamat hasta el río de Egipto celebró la fiesta en ese momento ante el Señor nuestro Dios, por dos semanas, incluso catorce días.
En aquel tiempo Salomón hizo fiesta, y con él todo Israel, una grande congregación, desde como entran en Hamath hasta el río de Egipto, delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, por siete días y otros siete días, esto es, por catorce días.

Y al octavo día despidió a la gente y bendiciendo al rey, fueron a sus casas alegres llenos de alegría y alegría en sus corazones, por todo el bien que el Señor le había hecho a David, su siervo, y a Israel su pueblo.
