Alors le roi Salomon assembla près de lui à Jérusalem les anciens d’Israël et tous les chefs des tribus, les chefs de famille des enfants d’Israël, pour transporter de la cité de David, qui est Sion, l’arche de l’alliance de l’Éternel.

ENTONCES juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y á todas las cabezas de las tribus, y á los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalem para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Tous les hommes d’Israël se réunirent auprès du roi Salomon, au mois d’Éthanim, qui est le septième mois, pendant la fête.

Y se juntaron al rey Salomón todos los varones de Israel en el mes de Ethanim, que es el mes séptimo, en el día solemne.

Lorsque tous les anciens d’Israël furent arrivés, les sacrificateurs portèrent l’arche.

Ils transportèrent l’arche de l’Éternel, la tente d’assignation, et tous les ustensiles sacrés qui étaient dans la tente: ce furent les sacrificateurs et les Lévites qui les transportèrent.

Y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo; los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y Levitas.

And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

They brought up the LORD’s ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent. The priests and the Levites brought these up.

Le roi Salomon et toute l’assemblée d’Israël convoquée auprès de lui se tinrent devant l’arche. Ils sacrifièrent des brebis et des bœufs, qui ne purent être ni comptés, ni nombrés, à cause de leur multitude.

Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que á él se había juntado, estaban con él delante del arca, sacrificando ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se podían contar ni numerar.

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

Les sacrificateurs portèrent l’arche de l’alliance de l’Éternel à sa place, dans le sanctuaire de la maison, dans le lieu très saint, sous les ailes des chérubins.

Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el oráculo de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

Car les chérubins avaient les ailes étendues sur la place de l’arche, et ils couvraient l’arche et ses barres par-dessus.

Porque los querubines tenían extendidas las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y así cubrían los querubines el arca y sus varas por encima.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

On avait donné aux barres une longueur telle que leurs extrémités se voyaient du lieu saint devant le sanctuaire, mais ne se voyaient point du dehors. Elles ont été là jusqu’à ce jour.

E hicieron salir las varas; que las cabezas de las varas se dejaban ver desde el santuario delante del oráculo, mas no se veían desde afuera: y así se quedaron hasta hoy.

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside. They are there to this day.

Il n’y avait dans l’arche que les deux tables de pierre, que Moïse y déposa en Horeb, lorsque l’Éternel fit alliance avec les enfants d’Israël, à leur sortie du pays d’Égypte.

En el arca ninguna cosa había más de las dos tablas de piedra que había allí puesto Moisés en Horeb, donde Jehová hizo la alianza con los hijos de Israel, cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Au moment où les sacrificateurs sortirent du lieu saint, la nuée remplit la maison de l’Éternel.

Y como los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, la nube hinchió la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

Les sacrificateurs ne purent pas y rester pour faire le service, à cause de la nuée; car la gloire de l’Éternel remplissait la maison de l’Éternel.

Y los sacerdotes no pudieron estar para ministrar por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the LORD’s glory filled the LORD’s house.

Alors Salomon dit: L’Éternel veut habiter dans l’obscurité!

Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho que él habitaría en la oscuridad.

Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

J’ai bâti une maison qui sera ta demeure, un lieu où tu résideras éternellement!

Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, asiento en que tú habites para siempre.

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Le roi tourna son visage, et bénit toute l’assemblée d’Israël; et toute l’assemblée d’Israël était debout.

Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel; y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

The king turned his face around and blessed all the assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel stood.

Et il dit: Béni soit l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël, qui a parlé de sa bouche à David, mon père, et qui accomplit par sa puissance ce qu’il avait déclaré en disant:

Y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca á David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

He said, “Blessed is the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

Depuis le jour où j’ai fait sortir d’Égypte mon peuple d’Israël, je n’ai point choisi de ville parmi toutes les tribus d’Israël pour qu’il y fût bâti une maison où résidât mon nom, mais j’ai choisi David pour qu’il régnât sur mon peuple d’Israël!

Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no he escogido ciudad de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar casa en la cual estuviese mi nombre, aunque escogí á David para que presidiese en mi pueblo Israel.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.’

David, mon père, avait l’intention de bâtir une maison au nom de l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël.

Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

“Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

Et l’Éternel dit à David, mon père: Puisque tu as eu l’intention de bâtir une maison à mon nom, tu as bien fait d’avoir eu cette intention.

Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;

And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

Seulement, ce ne sera pas toi qui bâtiras la maison; mais ce sera ton fils, sorti de tes entrailles, qui bâtira la maison à mon nom.

Empero tú no edificarás la casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa á mi nombre.

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

Nevertheless, you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.’

L’Éternel a accompli la parole qu’il avait prononcée. Je me suis élevé à la place de David, mon père, et je me suis assis sur le trône d’Israël, comme l’avait annoncé l’Éternel, et j’ai bâti la maison au nom de l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël.

Y Jehová ha verificado su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

The LORD has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

J’y ai disposé un lieu pour l’arche où est l’alliance de l’Éternel, l’alliance qu’il a faite avec nos pères quand il les fit sortir du pays d’Égypte.

Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

There I have set a place for the ark, in which is the LORD’s covenant, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.”

Salomon se plaça devant l’autel de l’Éternel, en face de toute l’assemblée d’Israël. Il étendit ses mains vers le ciel, et il dit:

Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,

And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

Solomon stood before the LORD’s altar in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;

O Éternel, Dieu d’Israël! Il n’y a point de Dieu semblable à toi, ni en haut dans les cieux, ni en bas sur la terre: tu gardes l’alliance et la miséricorde envers tes serviteurs qui marchent en ta présence de tout leur cœur!

Dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti de todo su corazón;

And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

and he said, “LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants who walk before you with all their heart;

Ainsi tu as tenu parole à ton serviteur David, mon père; et ce que tu as déclaré de ta bouche, tu l’accomplis en ce jour par ta puissance.

Que has guardado á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: dijístelo con tu boca, y con tu mano lo has cumplido, como aparece este día.

Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

who has kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is today.

Maintenant, Éternel, Dieu d’Israël, observe la promesse que tu as faite à David, mon père, en disant: Tu ne manqueras jamais devant moi d’un successeur assis sur le trône d’Israël, pourvu que tes fils prennent garde à leur voie et qu’ils marchent en ma présence comme tu as marché en ma présence.

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.

Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Now therefore, may LORD, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

Oh! Qu’elle s’accomplisse, Dieu d’Israël, la promesse que tu as faite à ton serviteur David, mon père!

Ahora pues, oh Dios de Israel, verifíquese tu palabra que dijiste á tu siervo David mi padre.

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

“Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.

Mais quoi! Dieu habiterait-il véritablement sur la terre? Voici, les cieux et les cieux des cieux ne peuvent te contenir: combien moins cette maison que je t’ai bâtie!

Empero ¿es verdad que Dios haya de morar sobre la tierra? He aquí que los cielos, los cielos de los cielos, no te pueden contener: ¿cuánto menos esta casa que yo he edificado?

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

Toutefois, Éternel, mon Dieu, sois attentif à la prière de ton serviteur et à sa supplication; écoute le cri et la prière que t’adresse aujourd’hui ton serviteur.

Con todo, tú atenderás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo propicio el clamor y oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti:

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant and for his supplication, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;

Que tes yeux soient nuit et jour ouverts sur cette maison, sur le lieu dont tu as dit: Là sera mon nom! Écoute la prière que ton serviteur fait en ce lieu.

Que estén tus ojos abiertos de noche y de día sobre esta casa, sobre este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí; y que oigas la oración que tu siervo hará en este lugar.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there;’ to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.

Daigne exaucer la supplication de ton serviteur et de ton peuple d’Israël, lorsqu’ils prieront en ce lieu! Exauce du lieu de ta demeure, des cieux, exauce et pardonne!

Oye pues la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oraren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu habitación, desde los cielos: que oigas y perdones.

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.

Si quelqu’un pèche contre son prochain et qu’on lui impose un serment pour le faire jurer, et s’il vient jurer devant ton autel, dans cette maison,

Cuando alguno hubiere pecado contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa;

If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:

“If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house,

écoute-le des cieux, agis, et juge tes serviteurs; condamne le coupable, et fais retomber sa conduite sur sa tête; rends justice à l’innocent, et traite-le selon son innocence!

Tú oirás desde el cielo, y obrarás, y juzgarás á tus siervos, condenando al impío, tornando su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo para darle conforme á su justicia.

Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

Quand ton peuple d’Israël sera battu par l’ennemi, pour avoir péché contre toi; s’ils reviennent à toi et rendent gloire à ton nom, s’ils t’adressent des prières et des supplications dans cette maison,

Cuando tu pueblo Israel hubiere caído delante de sus enemigos, por haber pecado contra ti, y á ti se volvieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren, y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa;

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

“When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy because they have sinned against you, if they turn again to you and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house,

exauce-les des cieux, pardonne le péché de ton peuple d’Israël, et ramène-les dans le pays que tu as donné à leurs pères!

Oyelos tú en los cielos, y perdona el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y vuélvelos á la tierra que diste á sus padres.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.

Quand le ciel sera fermé et qu’il n’y aura point de pluie, à cause de leurs péchés contre toi, s’ils prient dans ce lieu et rendent gloire à ton nom, et s’ils se détournent de leurs péchés, parce que tu les auras châtiés,

Cuando el cielo se cerrare, y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los hubieres afligido;

When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

“When the sky is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and confess your name, and turn from their sin when you afflict them,

exauce-les des cieux, pardonne le péché de tes serviteurs et de ton peuple d’Israël, à qui tu enseigneras la bonne voie dans laquelle ils doivent marcher, et fais venir la pluie sur la terre que tu as donnée en héritage à ton peuple!

Tú oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, enseñándoles el buen camino en que anden; y darás lluvias sobre tu tierra, la cual diste á tu pueblo por heredad.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.

Quand la famine, la peste, la rouille, la nielle, les sauterelles d’une espèce ou d’une autre, seront dans le pays, quand l’ennemi assiégera ton peuple dans son pays, dans ses portes, quand il y aura des fléaux ou des maladies quelconques;

Cuando en la tierra hubiere hambre, ó pestilencia, ó tizoncillo, ó niebla, ó langosta, ó pulgón: si sus enemigos los tuvieren cercados en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,

si un homme, si tout ton peuple d’Israël fait entendre des prières et des supplications, et que chacun reconnaisse la plaie de son cœur et étende les mains vers cette maison,

Toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga de su corazón, y extendiere sus manos á esta casa;

What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,

exauce-le des cieux, du lieu de ta demeure, et pardonne; agis, et rends à chacun selon ses voies, toi qui connais le cœur de chacun, car seul tu connais le cœur de tous les enfants des hommes,

Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y perdonarás, y obrarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, cuyo corazón tú conoces; (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres;)

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

et ils te craindront tout le temps qu’ils vivront dans le pays que tu as donné à nos pères!

Para que te teman todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste á nuestros padres.

That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.

Quand l’étranger, qui n’est pas de ton peuple d’Israël, viendra d’un pays lointain, à cause de ton nom,

Asimismo el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu nombre,

Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake;

“Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake

car on saura que ton nom est grand, ta main forte, et ton bras étendu, quand il viendra prier dans cette maison,

(Porque oirán de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido;) y viniere á orar á esta casa;

(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

(for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house,

exauce-le des cieux, du lieu de ta demeure, et accorde à cet étranger tout ce qu’il te demandera, afin que tous les peuples de la terre connaissent ton nom pour te craindre, comme ton peuple d’Israël, et sachent que ton nom est invoqué sur cette maison que j’ai bâtie!

Quand ton peuple sortira pour combattre son ennemi, en suivant la voie que tu lui auras prescrite; s’ils adressent à l’Éternel des prières, les regards tournés vers la ville que tu as choisie et vers la maison que j’ai bâtie à ton nom,

s’ils reviennent à toi de tout leur cœur et de toute leur âme, dans le pays de leurs ennemis qui les ont emmenés captifs, s’ils t’adressent des prières, les regards tournés vers leur pays que tu as donné à leurs pères, vers la ville que tu as choisie et vers la maison que j’ai bâtie à ton nom,

car ils sont ton peuple et ton héritage, et tu les as fait sortir d’Égypte, du milieu d’une fournaise de fer!

Porque ellos son tu pueblo y tu heredad, que tú sacaste de Egipto, de en medio del horno de hierro.

Que tes yeux soient ouverts sur la supplication de ton serviteur et sur la supplication de ton peuple d’Israël, pour les exaucer en tout ce qu’ils te demanderont!

Que tus ojos estén abiertos á la oración de tu siervo, y á la plegaria de tu pueblo Israel, para oirlos en todo aquello por lo que te invocaren:

That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

Car tu les as séparés de tous les autres peuples de la terre pour en faire ton héritage, comme tu l’as déclaré par Moïse, ton serviteur, quand tu fis sortir d’Égypte nos pères, Seigneur Éternel!

Pues que tú los apartaste para ti por tu heredad de todos los pueblos de la tierra, como lo dijiste por mano de Moisés tu siervo, cuando sacaste á nuestros padres de Egipto, oh Señor Jehová.

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

Lorsque Salomon eut achevé d’adresser à l’Éternel toute cette prière et cette supplication, il se leva de devant l’autel de l’Éternel, où il était agenouillé, les mains étendues vers le ciel.

Y fué, que como acabó Salomón de hacer á Jehová toda esta oración y súplica, levantóse de estar de rodillas delante del altar de Jehová con sus manos extendidas al cielo;

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

mais qu’il incline nos cœurs vers lui, afin que nous marchions dans toutes ses voies, et que nous observions ses commandements, ses lois et ses ordonnances, qu’il a prescrits à nos pères!

Incline nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos, y guardemos sus mandamientos y sus estatutos y sus derechos, los cuales mandó á nuestros padres.

afin que tous les peuples de la terre reconnaissent que l’Éternel est Dieu, qu’il n’y en a point d’autre!

Que votre cœur soit tout à l’Éternel, notre Dieu, comme il l’est aujourd’hui, pour suivre ses lois et pour observer ses commandements.

Le roi et tout Israël avec lui offrirent des sacrifices devant l’Éternel.

En ce jour, le roi consacra le milieu du parvis, qui est devant la maison de l’Éternel; car il offrit là les holocaustes, les offrandes, et les graisses des sacrifices d’actions de grâces, parce que l’autel d’airain qui est devant l’Éternel était trop petit pour contenir les holocaustes, les offrandes, et les graisses des sacrifices d’actions de grâces.

Aquel mismo día santificó el rey el medio del atrio que estaba delante de la casa de Jehová: porque ofreció allí los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos; por cuanto el altar de bronce que estaba delante de Jehová era pequeño, y no cupieran en él los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos.

The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

Salomon célébra la fête en ce temps-là, et tout Israël avec lui. Une grande multitude, venue depuis les environs de Hamath jusqu’au torrent d’Égypte, s’assembla devant l’Éternel, notre Dieu, pendant sept jours, et sept autres jours, soit quatorze jours.

En aquel tiempo Salomón hizo fiesta, y con él todo Israel, una grande congregación, desde como entran en Hamath hasta el río de Egipto, delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, por siete días y otros siete días, esto es, por catorce días.

Le huitième jour, il renvoya le peuple. Et ils bénirent le roi, et s’en allèrent dans leurs tentes, joyeux et le cœur content pour tout le bien que l’Éternel avait fait à David, son serviteur, et à Israël, son peuple.
