Entonces el rey Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a los ancianos de Israel, todos los jefes de las tribus y los líderes de las casas paternas de los hijos de Israel ante él, para llevar el Arca del Pacto de Yavé desde la ciudad de David, la cual es Sion.

ENTONCES juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y á todas las cabezas de las tribus, y á los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalem para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel with all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

Todos los hombres de Israel se congregaron ante el rey Salomón en la solemnidad del mes de Etanim, que es el mes séptimo.

Y se juntaron al rey Salomón todos los varones de Israel en el mes de Ethanim, que es el mes séptimo, en el día solemne.

And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Cuando todos los ancianos de Israel llegaron, los sacerdotes levantaron el Arca.

Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca.

And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

Los sacerdotes y los levitas llevaron el Arca de Yavé, el Tabernáculo de Reunión y todos los utensilios sagrados que había dentro del Tabernáculo.

Y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo; los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y Levitas.

And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

They brought up the LORD’s ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent. The priests and the Levites brought these up.

El rey Salomón y toda la congregación de Israel que se había reunido con él, estaban delante del Arca para sacrificar ovejas y becerros, tantos que no pudieron ser contados ni calculados por su gran cantidad.

Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que á él se había juntado, estaban con él delante del arca, sacrificando ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se podían contar ni numerar.

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

Entonces los sacerdotes introdujeron el Arca del Pacto de Yavé en su lugar en el Santuario Interior de la Casa, en el Lugar Santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.

Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el oráculo de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

The priests brought in the ark of the LORD’s covenant to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, even under the cherubim’s wings.

Porque los querubines extienden las alas sobre el lugar del Arca, de modo que los querubines cubren el Arca y sus varas por encima.

Porque los querubines tenían extendidas las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y así cubrían los querubines el arca y sus varas por encima.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

Pero las varas eran tan largas que sus extremos se podían ver desde el Lugar Santo, que estaba delante del Santuario Interior, sin embargo no podían verse desde afuera. Y así están hasta hoy.

E hicieron salir las varas; que las cabezas de las varas se dejaban ver desde el santuario delante del oráculo, mas no se veían desde afuera: y así se quedaron hasta hoy.

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside. They are there to this day.

Ninguna cosa había en el Arca excepto las dos tablas de piedra que Moisés puso allí en Horeb, donde Yavé hizo Pacto con los hijos de Israel cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto.

En el arca ninguna cosa había más de las dos tablas de piedra que había allí puesto Moisés en Horeb, donde Jehová hizo la alianza con los hijos de Israel, cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Aconteció que al salir los sacerdotes del Santuario, la nube llenó la Casa de Yavé.

Y como los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, la nube hinchió la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

It came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the LORD’s house,

Los sacerdotes no pudieron continuar ministrando por causa de la nube, porque la gloria de Yavé llenó la Casa de Yavé.

Y los sacerdotes no pudieron estar para ministrar por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the LORD’s glory filled the LORD’s house.

Entonces Salomón dijo: Yavé afirmó que Él viviría en la densa oscuridad.

Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho que él habitaría en la oscuridad.

Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Ciertamente te edifiqué una Casa sublime, un lugar donde mores para siempre.

Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, asiento en que tú habites para siempre.

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Mientras toda la congregación de Israel se mantenía en pie, el rey volvió su rostro y la bendijo:

Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel; y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

The king turned his face around and blessed all the assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel stood.

Bendito sea Yavé ʼElohim de Israel, Quien cumplió con su mano lo que habló por boca de mi padre David:

Y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca á David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

He said, “Blessed is the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

Desde el día cuando saqué a mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no escogí ninguna ciudad de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar una Casa donde esté mi Nombre, aunque escogí a David para que gobernara a mi pueblo Israel.

Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no he escogido ciudad de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar casa en la cual estuviese mi nombre, aunque escogí á David para que presidiese en mi pueblo Israel.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.’

Estuvo en el corazón de mi padre David el anhelo de edificar una Casa al Nombre de Yavé, el ʼElohim de Israel.

Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

“Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

Pero Yavé dijo a mi padre David: Por cuanto estuvo en tu corazón el anhelo de edificar Casa a mi Nombre, bien has hecho en tener esto en tu corazón.

Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;

And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

Pero tú no edificarás la Casa, sino un hijo tuyo. Él edificará la Casa a mi Nombre.

Empero tú no edificarás la casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa á mi nombre.

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

Nevertheless, you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.’

Yavé cumplió su Palabra, pues yo me levanté en lugar de mi padre David. Me senté en el trono de Israel, como Yavé habló, edifiqué la Casa al Nombre de Yavé, el ʼElohim de Israel,

Y Jehová ha verificado su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

The LORD has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

y dispuse en ella lugar para el Arca, en la cual está el Pacto de Yavé que Él hizo con nuestros antepasados cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.

Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

There I have set a place for the ark, in which is the LORD’s covenant, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.”

Luego Salomón se paró ante el altar de Yavé, frente a toda la congregación de Israel. Extendió sus manos al cielo

Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,

And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

Solomon stood before the LORD’s altar in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;

y dijo: ¡Oh Yavé, ʼElohim de Israel! No hay ʼElohim como Tú, ni arriba en el cielo ni abajo en la tierra. Tú guardas el Pacto y la misericordia hacia tus esclavos que andan delante de Ti con todo su corazón.

Dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti de todo su corazón;

And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

and he said, “LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants who walk before you with all their heart;

Tú cumpliste lo que prometiste a mi padre, tu esclavo David. Con tu boca lo hablaste y con tu mano lo cumpliste, como se ve hoy.

Que has guardado á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: dijístelo con tu boca, y con tu mano lo has cumplido, como aparece este día.

Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

who has kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is today.

Ahora pues, oh Yavé, ʼElohim de Israel, cumple con mi padre, tu esclavo David, lo que Tú le prometiste: No te faltará varón que se siente en el trono de Israel delante de Mí, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino para andar delante de Mí, como tú lo hiciste.

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.

Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Now therefore, may LORD, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

Ahora pues, oh ʼElohim de Israel, te ruego que sea confirmada tu Palabra que hablaste a tu esclavo mi padre David.

Ahora pues, oh Dios de Israel, verifíquese tu palabra que dijiste á tu siervo David mi padre.

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

“Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.

Aunque, ¿en verdad ʼElohim morará en la tierra? Ciertamente el cielo y el más alto cielo no pueden contenerte, ¡cuánto menos esta Casa que edifiqué!

Empero ¿es verdad que Dios haya de morar sobre la tierra? He aquí que los cielos, los cielos de los cielos, no te pueden contener: ¿cuánto menos esta casa que yo he edificado?

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

Sin embargo, oh Yavé, ʼElohim mío, Tú prestarás atención a la oración de tu esclavo y a su súplica, para escuchar el clamor que tu esclavo hace hoy ante tu Presencia.

Con todo, tú atenderás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo propicio el clamor y oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti:

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant and for his supplication, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;

Que tus ojos estén abiertos de noche y de día hacia esta Casa, hacia el lugar del cual dijiste: Allí estará mi Nombre, para escuchar la oración que tu esclavo haga en este lugar.

Que estén tus ojos abiertos de noche y de día sobre esta casa, sobre este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí; y que oigas la oración que tu siervo hará en este lugar.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there;’ to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.

Escucha la oración de tu esclavo y de tu pueblo Israel en este lugar. Escucha desde el lugar de tu morada en el cielo, y cuando escuches, perdona.

Oye pues la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oraren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu habitación, desde los cielos: que oigas y perdones.

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.

Cuando algún hombre peque contra otro, y se le exija juramento y entre en esta Casa para jurar ante tu altar,

Cuando alguno hubiere pecado contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa;

If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:

“If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house,

entonces escucha Tú desde el cielo. Haz justicia a tus esclavos al condenar al perverso, para que su conducta recaiga sobre su propia cabeza, justificar al justo y darle según su justicia.

Tú oirás desde el cielo, y obrarás, y juzgarás á tus siervos, condenando al impío, tornando su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo para darle conforme á su justicia.

Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

Cuando tu pueblo Israel sea derrotado por el enemigo porque pecó contra Ti, si ellos se vuelven a Ti, confiesan tu Nombre, oran y te hacen súplicas en esta Casa,

Cuando tu pueblo Israel hubiere caído delante de sus enemigos, por haber pecado contra ti, y á ti se volvieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren, y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa;

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

“When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy because they have sinned against you, if they turn again to you and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house,

escucha Tú desde el cielo, perdona el pecado de tu pueblo Israel y hazlos volver a la tierra que diste a sus antepasados.

Oyelos tú en los cielos, y perdona el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y vuélvelos á la tierra que diste á sus padres.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.

Cuando el cielo esté cerrado y no llueva porque ellos pecaron contra ti, si oran en este lugar, confiesan tu Nombre y se vuelven de su pecado por el cual los afligiste,

Cuando el cielo se cerrare, y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los hubieres afligido;

When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

“When the sky is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and confess your name, and turn from their sin when you afflict them,

escucha Tú en el cielo y perdona el pecado de tus esclavos, de tu pueblo Israel. Ciertamente, enséñales el buen camino por el cual deben andar y dales lluvia sobre tu tierra que diste a tu pueblo como heredad.

Tú oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, enseñándoles el buen camino en que anden; y darás lluvias sobre tu tierra, la cual diste á tu pueblo por heredad.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.

Cuando llegue a la tierra hambre, pestilencia, honguillo, parásito, saltamontes o pulgón, o cuando su enemigo asedie la puerta de su ciudad, cualquiera que sea la plaga o la enfermedad,

Cuando en la tierra hubiere hambre, ó pestilencia, ó tizoncillo, ó niebla, ó langosta, ó pulgón: si sus enemigos los tuvieren cercados en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,

toda oración y súplica que haga cualquier hombre de todo tu pueblo Israel, y cada uno reconozca la aflicción de su mismo corazón y extienda sus manos hacia esta Casa,

Toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga de su corazón, y extendiere sus manos á esta casa;

What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,

escucha Tú desde el cielo, el lugar de tu morada, perdona y aplica lo que merezca cada uno según todos sus procedimientos, pues Tú conoces su corazón. Porque solo Tú conoces los corazones de todos los hijos de hombres,

Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y perdonarás, y obrarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, cuyo corazón tú conoces; (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres;)

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

para que te teman todos los días que vivan sobre la tierra que Tú diste a nuestros antepasados.

Para que te teman todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste á nuestros padres.

That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.

Asimismo, el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel y venga de un país lejano por causa de tu Nombre,

Asimismo el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu nombre,

Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake;

“Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake

porque oirán de tu gran Nombre, tu poderosa mano y tu brazo extendido, y venga y ore en esta Casa,

(Porque oirán de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido;) y viniere á orar á esta casa;

(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

(for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house,

escucha Tú desde el cielo, el lugar de tu morada. Haz conforme a todo lo que el extranjero te pida, para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan tu Nombre, a fin de que te teman como tu pueblo Israel y sepan que esta Casa que construí está consagrada a tu Nombre.

Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y harás conforme á todo aquello por lo cual el extranjero hubiere á ti clamado: para que todos los pueblos de la tierra conozcan tu nombre, y te teman, como tu pueblo Israel, y entiendan que tu nombre es invocado sobre esta casa que yo edifiqué.

Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

Cuando tu pueblo salga a la batalla contra el enemigo, cualquiera que sea el camino por el cual los envíes, y oren a Yavé en dirección a la ciudad que Tú escogiste, a la Casa que edifiqué a tu Nombre,

Si tu pueblo saliere en batalla contra sus enemigos por el camino que tú los enviares, y oraren á Jehová hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste, y hacia la casa que yo edifiqué á tu nombre,

If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name:

escucha Tú su oración y súplica en el cielo y ampara su causa.

si en la tierra a donde fueron llevados cautivos, ellos reflexionan, se vuelven y te suplican: Pecamos, cometimos iniquidad, actuamos impíamente;

yet if they repent in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and have done perversely; we have dealt wickedly,’

si en la tierra de sus enemigos, a donde los llevaron cautivos, ellos se vuelven a Ti con todo su corazón y toda su alma, y oran a Ti en dirección a la tierra que diste a sus antepasados, hacia la ciudad que Tú elegiste y a la Casa que edifiqué a tu Nombre,

Y si se convirtieren á ti de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, en la tierra de sus enemigos que los hubieren llevado cautivos, y oraren á ti hacia su tierra, que tú diste á sus padres, hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste y la casa que yo he edificado á tu nombre;

escucha su oración y súplica en el cielo, el lugar de tu morada, ampara su causa

And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

porque son tu pueblo y heredad que Tú sacaste de Egipto, de en medio del horno de hierro.

Porque ellos son tu pueblo y tu heredad, que tú sacaste de Egipto, de en medio del horno de hierro.

For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:

(for they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the iron furnace);

Estén tus ojos abiertos a la súplica de tu esclavo y la súplica de tu pueblo Israel para escucharlos en todo aquello que te invoquen.

Que tus ojos estén abiertos á la oración de tu siervo, y á la plegaria de tu pueblo Israel, para oirlos en todo aquello por lo que te invocaren:

That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.

that your eyes may be open to the supplication of your servant and to the supplication of your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they cry to you.

Porque Tú los separaste de entre todos los pueblos de la tierra para que fueran tu heredad, como hablaste por medio de tu esclavo Moisés cuando sacaste a nuestros antepasados de Egipto, oh ʼAdonay Yavé.

Pues que tú los apartaste para ti por tu heredad de todos los pueblos de la tierra, como lo dijiste por mano de Moisés tu siervo, cuando sacaste á nuestros padres de Egipto, oh Señor Jehová.

For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

Sucedió que cuando Salomón terminó de hacer toda esta oración y súplica a Yavé, se levantó de su posición de rodillas, con sus manos extendidas al cielo, delante del altar de Yavé.

Y fué, que como acabó Salomón de hacer á Jehová toda esta oración y súplica, levantóse de estar de rodillas delante del altar de Jehová con sus manos extendidas al cielo;

And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

Al ponerse en pie, bendijo en alta voz a toda la congregación de Israel:

¡Bendito sea Yavé, Quien dio descanso a su pueblo Israel, de acuerdo con todo lo que Él habló! No falló ni una de todas sus buenas Palabras que habló por medio de su esclavo Moisés.

Bendito sea Jehová, que ha dado reposo á su pueblo Israel, conforme á todo lo que él había dicho; ninguna palabra de todas sus promesas que expresó por Moisés su siervo, ha faltado.

Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

Como estuviste con nuestros antepasados, así Yavé nuestro ʼElohim está con nosotros. No nos desampare ni nos abandone,

Sea con nosotros Jehová nuestro Dios, como fué con nuestros padres; y no nos desampare, ni nos deje;

The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:

e incline nuestro corazón hacia Él, para que andemos en todos sus caminos y guardemos sus Mandamientos, Estatutos y Ordenanzas que Él mandó a nuestros antepasados.

Incline nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos, y guardemos sus mandamientos y sus estatutos y sus derechos, los cuales mandó á nuestros padres.

That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.

Que estas palabras mías con las cuales supliqué delante de Yavé, estén cerca de Yavé nuestro ʼElohim día y noche, para que Él ampare la causa de su esclavo y de su pueblo Israel, según la necesidad de cada día,

Y que estas mis palabras con que he orado delante de Jehová, estén cerca de Jehová nuestro Dios de día y de noche, para que él proteja la causa de su siervo, y de su pueblo Israel, cada cosa en su tiempo;

And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:

a fin de que todos los pueblos de la tierra sepan que Yavé es ʼElohim y no hay otro.

That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

Que sea íntegro su corazón ante Yavé nuestro ʼElohim, para que anden en sus Leyes y guarden sus Mandamientos, como hoy.

Sea pues perfecto vuestro corazón para con Jehová nuestro Dios, andando en sus estatutos, y guardando sus mandamientos, como el día de hoy.

Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

Entonces el rey y todo Israel ofrecieron sacrificios delante de Yavé.

Salomón ofreció en sacrificio a Yavé como ofrenda de paz 22.000 becerros y 120.000 ovejas. Así el rey y todos los hijos de Israel consagraron la Casa de Yavé.

Y sacrificó Salomón por sacrificios pacíficos, los cuales ofreció á Jehová, veinte y dos mil bueyes, y ciento veinte mil ovejas. Así dedicaron el rey y todos los hijos de Israel la casa de Jehová.

And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.

Aquel mismo día el rey consagró la parte central del patio que estaba delante de la Casa de Yavé, pues allí preparó el holocausto, la ofrenda vegetal y la grasa de los sacrificios de paz, porque el altar de bronce que estaba delante de Yavé fue demasiado pequeño para contener el holocausto, la ofrenda vegetal y las grasas de los sacrificios de paz.

Aquel mismo día santificó el rey el medio del atrio que estaba delante de la casa de Jehová: porque ofreció allí los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos; por cuanto el altar de bronce que estaba delante de Jehová era pequeño, y no cupieran en él los holocaustos, y los presentes, y los sebos de los pacíficos.

The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

Así Salomón y todo Israel, una inmensa congregación que acudió desde la entrada de Hamat hasta el arroyo de Egipto, celebraron la solemnidad delante de Yavé nuestro ʼElohim durante siete días, y aun durante otros siete días, es decir, durante 14 días.

En aquel tiempo Salomón hizo fiesta, y con él todo Israel, una grande congregación, desde como entran en Hamath hasta el río de Egipto, delante de Jehová nuestro Dios, por siete días y otros siete días, esto es, por catorce días.

And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.

Al octavo día despidió al pueblo. Ellos bendijeron al rey y se fueron a sus tiendas gozosos y alegres de corazón por todo el bien que Yavé mostró a su esclavo David y su pueblo Israel.

Y el octavo día despidió al pueblo: y ellos bendiciendo al rey, se fueron á sus estancias alegres y gozosos de corazón por todos los beneficios que Jehová había hecho á David su siervo, y á su pueblo Israel.

On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
