Da versammelte Salomoh die Ältesten Israels und alle Häupter der Stämme, die Fürsten der Väter bei den Söhnen Israels, zum Könige Salomoh nach Jerusalem, auf daß sie heraufbrächten die Lade des Bundes Jehovahs aus der Stadt Davids, das ist Zion.

ENTONCES juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y á todas las cabezas de las tribus, y á los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalem para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel with all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

Und es versammelten sich zum König Salomoh alle Männer Israels im Monde Ethanim am Feste, das ist der siebente Monat.

Y se juntaron al rey Salomón todos los varones de Israel en el mes de Ethanim, que es el mes séptimo, en el día solemne.

And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.

Und es kamen alle Ältesten Israels, und die Priester hoben auf die Lade,

Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca.

And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.

Und brachten die Lade Jehovahs und das Versammlungszelt und alle Geräte der Heiligkeit, die im Zelte waren, herauf. Und die Priester und die Leviten brachten sie herauf.

Y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo; los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y Levitas.

And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up.

They brought up the LORD’s ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent. The priests and the Levites brought these up.

Und der König Salomoh und die ganze Gemeinde Israel, die sich zu ihm eingestellt, opferten mit ihm vor der Lade Kleinvieh und Rinder, daß sie sich nicht zählen, noch berechnen ließen vor Menge.

Y el rey Salomón, y toda la congregación de Israel que á él se había juntado, estaban con él delante del arca, sacrificando ovejas y bueyes, que por la multitud no se podían contar ni numerar.

And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

Und die Priester brachten die Lade des Bundes Jehovahs herein an ihren Ort, zum Sprechort des Hauses, zum Allerheiligsten, unter die Flügel der Cherube.

Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el oráculo de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims.

Denn die Cherube breiteten die Flügel über den Ort der Lade aus, und die Cherube bedeckten die Lade und ihre Stangen von oben her.

For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

Und die Stangen waren so lang, daß die Spitzen der Stangen gesehen wurden vom Heiligtum aus vor dem Sprechorte; sie wurden aber nicht gesehen von außen, und sie sind allda bis auf diesen Tag.

E hicieron salir las varas; que las cabezas de las varas se dejaban ver desde el santuario delante del oráculo, mas no se veían desde afuera: y así se quedaron hasta hoy.

And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day.

The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside. They are there to this day.

In der Lade war nichts, als die zwei steinernen Tafeln, die Moses am Choreb da hineingelegt, wo Jehovah mit den Söhnen Israels abschloß bei ihrem Auszug aus dem Lande Ägypten.

En el arca ninguna cosa había más de las dos tablas de piedra que había allí puesto Moisés en Horeb, donde Jehová hizo la alianza con los hijos de Israel, cuando salieron de la tierra de Egipto.

There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

Und es geschah, da die Priester aus dem Heiligtum herauskamen, daß die Wolke das Haus des Jehovah erfüllte.

Y como los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, la nube hinchió la casa de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

Und die Priester vermochten nicht, zu stehen ihren Dienst zu tun vor der Wolke; denn die Herrlichkeit Jehovahs hatte das Haus Jehovahs erfüllt.

Y los sacerdotes no pudieron estar para ministrar por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.

So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

Da sprach Salomoh: Jehovah hat gesprochen, daß Er im Wolkendunkel wohnen werde.

Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho que él habitaría en la oscuridad.

Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Then Solomon said, “The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Ich habe ein Haus gebaut zum Wohnort für Dich, eine Stätte, daß Du da wohnest ewiglich.

Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, asiento en que tú habites para siempre.

I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Und der König wandte sein Angesicht herum und segnete die ganze Versammlung Israel. Und die ganze Versammlung Israel stand.

Y volviendo el rey su rostro, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel; y toda la congregación de Israel estaba en pie.

And the king turned his face about, and blessed all the congregation of Israel: (and all the congregation of Israel stood;)

The king turned his face around and blessed all the assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel stood.

Und er sprach: Gesegnet sei Jehovah, der Gott Israels, Der mit Seinem Munde geredet hat zu David, meinem Vater, und erfüllt mit Seiner Hand und gesprochen hat:

Y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca á David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

He said, “Blessed is the LORD, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

Von dem Tage an, da Ich Mein Volk Israel aus Ägypten herausgebracht, habe Ich keine Stadt erwählt aus allen Stämmen Israels, ein Haus zu bauen, daß Mein Name allda wäre. Ich erwählte aber David, daß er über Mein Volk Israel sein sollte.

Desde el día que saqué mi pueblo Israel de Egipto, no he escogido ciudad de todas las tribus de Israel para edificar casa en la cual estuviese mi nombre, aunque escogí á David para que presidiese en mi pueblo Israel.

Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build an house, that my name might be therein; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.

‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.’

Und es war im Herzen Davids, meines Vaters, dem Namen Jehovahs, des Gottes Israels, ein Haus zu bauen.

Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

“Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

Aber Jehovah sprach zu David, meinem Vater: Weil es dir im Herzen war, Meinem Namen ein Haus zu bauen, hast du daran wohlgetan, daß es in deinem Herzen war.

Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;

And the LORD said unto David my father, Whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

But the LORD said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.

Doch nicht du sollst das Haus bauen, sondern dein Sohn, der aus deinen Hüften kommt, der soll Meinem Namen das Haus bauen.

Empero tú no edificarás la casa, sino tu hijo que saldrá de tus lomos, él edificará casa á mi nombre.

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

Nevertheless, you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.’

Und Jehovah hat Sein Wort bestätigt, das Er geredet: Und ich bin an Davids, meines Vaters, Stelle aufgestanden und sitze auf dem Throne Israels, so wie Jehovah geredet, und habe dem Namen Jehovahs, des Gottes Israels, das Haus gebaut,

Y Jehová ha verificado su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.

And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

The LORD has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.

Und habe allda den Ort gesetzt für die Lade, darin der Bund Jehovahs ist, den Er mit unseren Vätern schloß, da Er sie aus dem Lande Ägypten ausführte.

Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.

And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.

There I have set a place for the ark, in which is the LORD’s covenant, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.”

Und Salomoh stand vor dem Altar Jehovahs, gegenüber der ganzen Versammlung Israel, und breitete seine Hände gen Himmel aus,

Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,

And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

Solomon stood before the LORD’s altar in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;

Und sprach: Jehovah, Gott Israels, keiner ist wie Du, Gott, im Himmel oben und auf Erden unten, Der Du hältst den Bund und die Barmherzigkeit Deinen Knechten, die von ganzem Herzen vor Dir wandeln.

Dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti de todo su corazón;

And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

and he said, “LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants who walk before you with all their heart;

Der Du Deinem Knechte, dem David, meinem Vater, gehalten, was Du zu ihm geredet hast; und Du hast geredet mit Deinem Munde und mit Deiner Hand erfüllt, wie es an diesem Tage ist.

Que has guardado á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le dijiste: dijístelo con tu boca, y con tu mano lo has cumplido, como aparece este día.

Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

who has kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is today.

Und nun, Jehovah, Gott Israels, halte Deinem Knechte David, meinem Vater, was Du zu ihm geredet und gesprochen hast: Nicht soll von dir ausgerottet werden ein Mann vor Mir, der sitze auf dem Throne Israels, nur sollen deine Söhne ihren Weg halten, daß sie wandeln vor Mir, wie du vor Mir gewandelt bist.

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.

Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Now therefore, may LORD, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’

Und nun, Gott Israels, lasse Deine Worte sich bewähren, die Du zu Deinem Knechte David, meinem Vater, geredet hast.

Ahora pues, oh Dios de Israel, verifíquese tu palabra que dijiste á tu siervo David mi padre.

And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

“Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.

Sollte in Wahrheit Gott auf Erden wohnen? Siehe die Himmel und die Himmel der Himmel fassen Dich nicht; wie denn das Haus da, das ich gebaut habe?

Empero ¿es verdad que Dios haya de morar sobre la tierra? He aquí que los cielos, los cielos de los cielos, no te pueden contener: ¿cuánto menos esta casa que yo he edificado?

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!

Aber wende Dich zu dem Gebete Deines Knechtes und zu seinem Flehen, Jehovah, mein Gott, auf daß Du hörest auf die Lobpreisung und das Gebet, das Dein Knecht vor Dir betet diesen Tag.

Con todo, tú atenderás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo propicio el clamor y oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti:

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant and for his supplication, LORD my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;

Laß Deine Augen geöffnet sein über diesem Hause Nacht und Tag, über dem Ort, von dem Du gesprochen: Mein Name soll sein allda! Auf daß Du hörest auf das Gebet, das Dein Knecht an diesem Orte betet.

Que estén tus ojos abiertos de noche y de día sobre esta casa, sobre este lugar del cual has dicho: Mi nombre estará allí; y que oigas la oración que tu siervo hará en este lugar.

That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there;’ to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.

Und höre auf das Flehen Deines Knechtes und Deines Volkes Israel, das sie an diesem Orte beten werden; und wenn Du es hörst an dem Orte, da Du wohnst im Himmel, so höre und vergib.

Oye pues la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oraren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu habitación, desde los cielos: que oigas y perdones.

And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.

So ein Mann sündigt wider seinen Genossen, und man ihm einen Eid auflegt, ihn zu beeidigen, und der Eid vor Deinem Altar in diesem Hause kommt;

Cuando alguno hubiere pecado contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa;

If any man trespass against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house:

“If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house,

So höre Du im Himmel und tue und richte Deine Knechte, auf daß die Ungerechtigkeit auf den Ungerechten komme, und Du seinen Wandel bringest auf sein Haupt, und Du den Gerechten rechtfertigest und ihm gebest nach seiner Gerechtigkeit.

Tú oirás desde el cielo, y obrarás, y juzgarás á tus siervos, condenando al impío, tornando su proceder sobre su cabeza, y justificando al justo para darle conforme á su justicia.

Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.

Wenn Dein Volk Israel vor einem Feind geschlagen wird, weil sie gegen Dich gesündigt haben, und sie zu Dir zurückkehren und Deinen Namen bekennen und beten und flehen zu Dir in diesem Haus;

Cuando tu pueblo Israel hubiere caído delante de sus enemigos, por haber pecado contra ti, y á ti se volvieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren, y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa;

When thy people Israel be smitten down before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee, and shall turn again to thee, and confess thy name, and pray, and make supplication unto thee in this house:

“When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy because they have sinned against you, if they turn again to you and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house,

So höre Du im Himmel und vergib die Sünde Deines Volkes Israel, und bringe sie zurück auf den Boden, den Du ihren Vätern gegeben hast.

Oyelos tú en los cielos, y perdona el pecado de tu pueblo Israel, y vuélvelos á la tierra que diste á sus padres.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.

Wenn sich die Himmel zurückhalten, und kein Regen ist, weil sie gegen Dich gesündigt haben, und sie beten an diesem Ort und bekennen Deinen Namen und kehren zurück von ihrer Sünde, weil Du sie gedemütigt hast;

Cuando el cielo se cerrare, y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los hubieres afligido;

When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them:

“When the sky is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and confess your name, and turn from their sin when you afflict them,

So höre Du im Himmel und vergib die Sünde Deiner Knechte und Deines Volkes Israel, weil Du ihnen den guten Weg weisest, auf dem sie gehen sollen, und gib Regen auf Dein Land, das Du Deinem Volke zum Erbe gegeben hast.

Tú oirás en los cielos, y perdonarás el pecado de tus siervos y de tu pueblo Israel, enseñándoles el buen camino en que anden; y darás lluvias sobre tu tierra, la cual diste á tu pueblo por heredad.

Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.

then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.

So eine Hungersnot im Lande ist, eine Pest, wenn ein Kornbrand, eine Vergilbung, Heuschrecken, Grillen sein werden; so sein Feind im Lande, es in seinen Toren bedrängt, oder irgendeine Plage oder Krankheit;

Cuando en la tierra hubiere hambre, ó pestilencia, ó tizoncillo, ó niebla, ó langosta, ó pulgón: si sus enemigos los tuvieren cercados en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;

If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

“If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,

Alles Gebet, alles Flehen, das unter allen Menschen, unter all Deinem Volke Israel sein wird, und jeder Mann die Plage seines Herzens erkennt und seine Hände zu diesem Hause ausbreitet;

Toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga de su corazón, y extendiere sus manos á esta casa;

What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,

So höre Du im Himmel, der Stätte, da Du wohnst, und vergib und tue und gib jedem Mann nach allen seinen Wegen, da Du sein Herz weißt; denn Du allein weißt das Herz aller Söhne des Menschen.

Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y perdonarás, y obrarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, cuyo corazón tú conoces; (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres;)

Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

Auf daß sie Dich fürchten alle Tage, die sie auf dem Boden leben, den Du unseren Vätern gegeben hast.

Para que te teman todos los días que vivieren sobre la haz de la tierra que tú diste á nuestros padres.

That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.

Und auch ein Ausländer, der nicht von Deinem Volke Israel ist, aber aus fernem Lande kommt um Deines Namens willen,

Asimismo el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu nombre,

Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name’s sake;

Denn sie werden hören von Deinem großen Namen und Deiner gewaltigen Hand und Deinem ausgereckten Arm], und so er kommt und betet in diesem Hause;

(Porque oirán de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido;) y viniere á orar á esta casa;

(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

So höre Du auf ihn im Himmel, in der Stätte, da Du wohnst, und tue alles, um das der Ausländer Dich anruft, auf daß alle Völker der Erde Deinen Namen erkennen, Dich fürchten, wie Dein Volk Israel, und daß sie erkennen, daß Dein Name über dieses Haus, das ich erbaut habe, angerufen wird.

Denn Dein Volk und Dein Erbe sind sie, die Du aus Ägypten mitten aus dem eisernen Ofen herausgebracht hast.

Und es geschah, als Salomoh all dies Gebet und Flehen zu Jehovah zu beten vollendet hatte, da stand er auf von dem Beugen auf seinen Knien vor dem Altare Jehovahs und breitete seine Hände aus gen Himmel;

Er neige unsere Herzen zu Ihm, auf daß wir in allen Seinen Wegen wandeln, und halten Seine Gebote und Seine Satzungen und Seine Rechte, die Er unseren Vätern geboten hat.

Incline nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos, y guardemos sus mandamientos y sus estatutos y sus derechos, los cuales mandó á nuestros padres.
