Quando Salomão havia terminado a construção do templo do Senhor, do palácio e tudo o mais que tinha planejado construir,

Y COMO Salomón hubo acabado la obra de la casa de Jehová, y la casa real, y todo lo que Salomón quiso hacer,

And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do,

o Senhor apareceu a ele pela segunda vez, como tinha aparecido na primeira vez em Gibeom,

Jehová apareció á Salomón la segunda vez, como le había aparecido en Gabaón.

That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.

e lhe disse: “Ouvi a oração e as súplicas que você fez a mim. Tornei sagrado este templo que você construiu, para que aqui habite o meu nome para sempre. Estarei sempre vigiando este templo e me alegrando nele.

Y díjole Jehová: Yo he oído tu oración y tu ruego, que has hecho en mi presencia. Yo he santificado esta casa que tú has edificado, para poner mi nombre en ella para siempre; y en ella estarán mis ojos y mi corazón todos los días.

And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

The LORD said to him, “I have heard your prayer and your supplication that you have made before me. I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.

“E se você viver uma vida honesta e verdadeira como viveu seu pai Davi, sempre me obedecendo,

Y si tú anduvieres delante de mí, como anduvo David tu padre, en integridad de corazón y en equidad, haciendo todas las cosas que yo te he mandado, y guardando mis estatutos y mis derechos,

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, in integrity of heart and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances,

então farei com que seus filhos sejam reis de Israel para sempre, conforme prometi a seu pai Davi, quando disse a ele: ‘Um de seus filhos sempre estará no trono de Israel’.

Yo afirmaré el trono de tu reino sobre Israel para siempre, como hablé á David tu padre, diciendo: No faltará de ti varón en el trono de Israel.

Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

“Contudo, se você ou seus filhos se afastarem de mim e adorarem outros deuses, e não obedecerem às minhas leis,

Mas si obstinadamente os apartareis de mí vosotros y vuestros hijos, y no guardareis mis mandamientos y mis estatutos que yo he puesto delante de vosotros, sino que fuereis y sirviereis á dioses ajenos, y los adorareis;

But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:

But if you turn away from following me, you or your children, and not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods and worship them,

então tirarei o povo de Israel desta terra que lhe dei. Lançarei para longe este templo que tornei sagrado para o meu nome, e lançarei essa gente para longe da minha vista. Israel se tornará um objeto de zombaria e desprezo entre as nações.

Yo cortaré á Israel de sobre la haz de la tierra que les he entregado; y esta casa que he santificado á mi nombre, yo la echaré de delante de mí, é Israel será por proverbio y fábula á todos los pueblos;

Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:

then I will cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and I will cast this house, which I have made holy for my name, out of my sight; and Israel will be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.

Este templo que é tão imponente se tornará um montão de ruínas, e todos os que passarem perto dele vão ficar espantados e perguntarão: ‘Por que o Senhor fez uma coisa dessas com esta terra e este templo?’

Y esta casa que estaba en estima, cualquiera que pasare por ella se pasmará, y silbará, y dirá: ¿Por qué ha hecho así Jehová á esta tierra, y á esta casa?

And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

Though this house is so high, yet everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss; and they will say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’

E a resposta será: ‘O povo de Israel abandonou o Senhor, o seu Deus, que os tirou da terra do Egito; e em lugar do Deus verdadeiro, se apegaram a outros deuses. É por isso que o Senhor trouxe este mal sobre eles’ ”.

Y dirán: Por cuanto dejaron á Jehová su Dios, que había sacado á sus padres de tierra de Egipto, y echaron mano á dioses ajenos, y los adoraron, y los sirvieron: por eso ha traído Jehová sobre ellos todo aqueste mal.

And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

and they will answer, ‘Because they abandoned the LORD their God, who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and embraced other gods, and worshiped them, and served them. Therefore the LORD has brought all this evil on them.’”

Ao fim dos vinte anos, durante os quais Salomão construiu o templo do Senhor e o palácio,

And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the LORD, and the king’s house,

ele deu vinte cidades da terra da Galileia a Hirão, rei de Tiro, como pagamento por toda a madeira de cedro e de pinho, e pelo ouro que ele havia fornecido para a construção do palácio e do templo.

(Para las cuales Hiram rey de Tiro, había traído á Salomón madera de cedro y de haya, y cuanto oro él quiso), que el rey Salomón dió á Hiram veinte ciudades en tierra de Galilea.

(Now Hiram the king of Tyre had furnished Solomon with cedar trees and fir trees, and with gold, according to all his desire,) that then king Solomon gave Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

Mas quando Hirão veio de Tiro para ver as cidades que Salomão lhe dera, não ficou contente com elas.

Y salió Hiram de Tiro para ver las ciudades que Salomón le había dado, y no le contentaron.

And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; and they pleased him not.

“Que espécie de negócio é este, meu irmão?” perguntou; “estas cidades não valem nada!” E até hoje elas ainda são conhecidas como Cabul.

Y dijo: ¿Qué ciudades son estas que me has dado, hermano? Y púsoles por nombre, la tierra de Cabul, hasta hoy.

And he said, What cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them the land of Cabul unto this day.

Pois o ouro que Hirão havia mandado para Salomão totalizou quatro mil e duzentos quilos.

Y había Hiram enviado al rey ciento y veinte talentos de oro.

And Hiram sent to the king sixscore talents of gold.

O rei Salomão havia imposto trabalho forçado para a construção do templo do Senhor, do seu palácio, da fortaleza de Milo, do muro de Jerusalém e das cidades de Hazor, Megido e Gezer.

Y esta es la razón del tributo que el rey Salomón impuso para edificar la casa de Jehová, y su casa, y á Millo, y el muro de Jerusalem, y á Hasor, y Megiddo, y Gezer.

And this is the reason of the levy which king Solomon raised; for to build the house of the LORD, and his own house, and Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

This is the reason of the forced labor which King Solomon conscripted: to build the LORD’s house, his own house, Millo, Jerusalem’s wall, Hazor, Megiddo, and Gezer.

Gezer era a cidade que o rei do Egito havia atacado e conquistado, matando os cananeus que ali viviam, e deu a cidade à sua filha como presente, quando ela se casou com Salomão.

Faraón el rey de Egipto había subido y tomado á Gezer, y quemádola, y había muerto los Cananeos que habitaban la ciudad, y dádola en don á su hija la mujer de Salomón.

For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon’s wife.

Salomão reconstruiu Gezer. Ele também construiu Bete-Horom Baixa,

Restauró pues Salomón á Gezer, y á la baja Beth-oron,

And Solomon built Gezer, and Beth-horon the nether,

Solomon built in the land Gezer, Beth Horon the lower,

Baalate e Tadmor, no deserto daquela região.

Y á Baalath, y á Tadmor en tierra del desierto;

And Baalath, and Tadmor in the wilderness, in the land,

Baalath, Tamar in the wilderness,

Também construiu cidades para depósitos de cereais, cidades para guardar seus carros de guerra, cidades para residência dos seus cavaleiros e cidades de refúgio perto de Jerusalém, nas montanhas do Líbano e por toda parte do império.

Asimismo todas las ciudades donde Salomón tenía municiones, y las ciudades de los carros, y las ciudades de la gente de á caballo, y todo lo que Salomón deseó edificar en Jerusalem, en el Líbano, y en toda la tierra de su señorío.

And all the cities of store that Solomon had, and cities for his chariots, and cities for his horsemen, and that which Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.

Salomão obrigou a trabalhos forçados todos aqueles que sobreviveram das raças pagãs no território de Israel — os amorreus, os heteus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus,

A todos los pueblos que quedaron de los Amorrheos, Hetheos, Pherezeos, Heveos, Jebuseos, que no fueron de los hijos de Israel;

And all the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which were not of the children of Israel,

As for all the people who were left of the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel—

porque o povo de Israel não foi capaz de acabar de uma vez com aqueles povos no tempo da invasão e conquista de Israel, e eles continuam como escravos até hoje.

A sus hijos que quedaron en la tierra después de ellos, que los hijos de Israel no pudieron acabar, hizo Salomón que sirviesen con tributo hasta hoy.

Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel also were not able utterly to destroy, upon those did Solomon levy a tribute of bondservice unto this day.

Mas Salomão não obrigou nenhum israelita a trabalhos forçados; eles eram seus soldados, oficiais do exército, comandantes de carros e soldados da cavalaria.

Mas á ninguno de los hijos de Israel impuso Salomón servicio, sino que eran hombres de guerra, ó sus criados, ó sus príncipes, ó sus capitanes, ó comandantes de sus carros, ó su gente de á caballo.

But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no bondmen: but they were men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and rulers of his chariots, and his horsemen.

E havia quinhentos e cinquenta homens de Israel que supervisionavam os operários e fiscalizavam as obras.

Y los que Salomón había hecho jefes y prepósitos sobre las obras, eran quinientos y cincuenta, los cuales estaban sobre el pueblo que trabajaba en aquella obra.

These were the chief of the officers that were over Solomon’s work, five hundred and fifty, which bare rule over the people that wrought in the work.

O rei Salomão fez a mudança da filha do faraó da Cidade de Davi, o antigo setor de Jerusalém, para a nova residência que ele havia construído para ela no palácio. Depois ele construiu a fortaleza de Milo.

Y subió la hija de Faraón de la ciudad de David á su casa que Salomón le había edificado: entonces edificó él á Millo.

Salomão oferecia ofertas queimadas e ofertas de paz três vezes por ano sobre o altar que ele tinha mandado construir para o Senhor. E também queimava incenso sobre o altar diante do Senhor. Assim Salomão terminou a construção do templo.

Y ofrecía Salomón tres veces cada un año holocaustos y pacíficos sobre el altar que él edificó á Jehová, y quemaba perfumes sobre el que estaba delante de Jehová, después que la casa fué acabada.

And three times in a year did Solomon offer burnt offerings and peace offerings upon the altar which he built unto the LORD, and he burnt incense upon the altar that was before the LORD. So he finished the house.

O rei Salomão tinha um pátio para construção de navios em Eziom-Geber, que fica perto de Elate, às margens do mar Vermelho, na terra de Edom, onde construiu uma frota de navios.

Hizo también el rey Salomón navíos en Ezión-geber, que es junto á Elath en la ribera del mar Bermejo, en la tierra de Edom.

And king Solomon made a navy of ships in Ezion-geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red sea, in the land of Edom.

O rei Hirão enviou, por navio, marinheiros competentes e experientes para acompanhar as tripulações dos navios de Salomão.

And Hiram sent in the navy his servants, shipmen that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.

Eles estavam acostumados a viajar para Ofir, e dali trouxeram catorze mil e setecentos quilos de ouro para o rei Salomão.

Los cuales fueron á Ophir, y tomaron de allí oro, cuatrocientos y veinte talentos, y trajéronlo al rey Salomón.

And they came to Ophir, and fetched from thence gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.
