pues ésta es la voluntad de Dios, que obrando bien tapéis la boca a la ignorancia de los hombres necios e insensatos;

Ya á los gobernadores, como de él enviados para venganza de los malhechores, y para loor de los que hacen bien.

Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evildoers and for praise to those who do well.
