In der Schrift heißt es ja: »Seht, ich lege in Zion einen auserwählten Stein, einen kostbaren Eckstein; und wer auf ihn sein Vertrauen setzt, wird nimmermehr zuschanden werden.«

Por lo cual también contiene la Escritura: He aquí, pongo en Sión la principal piedra del ángulo, escogida, preciosa; y el que creyere en ella, no será confundido.

Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Because it is contained in Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
