Für euch nun, die Gläubigen, †ist er ein Wert, für †die, die nicht glauben aber †ist er „ein Stein, den die Bauleute verwarfen, dieser wurde zum Eckstein“ (Psalm 118,22),

Ella es pues honor á vosotros que creéis: mas para los desobedientes, la piedra que los edificadores reprobaron, ésta fué hecha la cabeza del ángulo;

Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

For you who believe therefore is the honor, but for those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,”
