Denn auch Christus ist einmal um der Sünden willen gestorben, als Gerechter für Ungerechte, um uns zu Gott zu führen, er, der am Fleisch zwar getötet worden ist, aber zum Leben erweckt am Geist.

Porque también Cristo padeció una vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos á Dios, siendo á la verdad muerto en la carne, pero vivificado en espíritu;

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,
