Denn auch Christus hat einmal für Sünden gelitten, ein Gerechter für Ungerechte, auf daß er uns zu Gott führte, und er wurde getötet nach dem Fleisch, aber lebendig gemacht nach dem Geist,

Porque también Cristo padeció una vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos á Dios, siendo á la verdad muerto en la carne, pero vivificado en espíritu;

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit,
