Esse tipo de beleza interior foi o que se viu nas santas mulheres do passado, as quais colocavam sua esperança em Deus e se sujeitavam aos planos do seu marido.

Porque así también se ataviaban en el tiempo antiguo aquellas santas mujeres que esperaban en Dios, siendo sujetas á sus maridos:

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

For this is how in the past the holy women who hoped in God also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands.
