Uma vez que Cristo sofreu e suportou a dor no seu corpo, vocês devem ter uma atitude semelhante; devem estar prontos a sofrer também. Lembrem-se: o sofrimento físico enfraquece a força do pecado,

PUES que Cristo ha padecido por nosotros en la carne, vosotros también estad armados del mismo pensamiento: que el que ha padecido en la carne, cesó de pecado;

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
