Christ donc ayant souffert pour nous dans la chair, vous aussi, armez-vous de cette même pensée, que celui qui a souffert dans la chair s’est reposé du péché,
PUES que Cristo ha padecido por nosotros en la carne, vosotros también estad armados del mismo pensamiento: que el que ha padecido en la carne, cesó de pecado;
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind; for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,
pour ne plus vivre le reste de son temps dans la chair pour les convoitises des hommes, mais pour la volonté de Dieu.
Para que ya el tiempo que queda en carne, viva, no á las concupiscencias de los hombres, sino á la voluntad de Dios.

Car il nous suffit d’avoir accompli, dans le temps déjà écoulé, la volonté des nations, alors que nous marchions dans la débauche, les convoitises, l’ivrognerie, les excès dans le manger et le boire et les criminelles idolâtries,
Porque nos debe bastar que el tiempo pasado de nuestra vida hayamos hecho la voluntad de los Gentiles, cuando conversábamos en lascivias, en concupiscencias, en embriagueces, en glotonerías, en banquetes, y en abominables idolatrías.
For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.
en quoi ils trouvent étrange que vous ne couriez pas avec eux dans le même bourbier de corruption, vous disant des injures ;
En lo cual les parece cosa extraña que vosotros no corráis con ellos en el mismo desenfrenamiento de disolución, ultrajándoos:
Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

et ils rendront compte à celui qui est prêt à juger les vivants et les morts.
Los cuales darán cuenta al que está aparejado para juzgar los vivos y los muertos.
Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
They will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.
Car c’est pour cela qu’il a été évangélisé à ceux aussi qui sont morts, afin qu’ils soient jugés, selon les hommes, quant à la chair ; et qu’ils vivent, selon Dieu, quant à l’esprit.
Porque por esto también ha sido predicado el evangelio á los muertos; para que sean juzgados en carne según los hombres, y vivan en espíritu según Dios.
For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
For to this end the Good News was preached even to the dead, that they might be judged indeed as men in the flesh, but live as to God in the spirit.
Mais la fin de toutes choses s’est approchée ; soyez donc sobres et veillez pour prier ;

Suivant que chacun de vous a reçu quelque don de grâce, employez-le les uns pour les autres, comme bons dispensateurs de la grâce variée de Dieu.
Cada uno según el don que ha recibido, adminístrelo á los otros, como buenos dispensadores de las diferentes gracias de Dios.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
Si quelqu’un parle, qu’il le fasse comme oracle de Dieu ; si quelqu’un sert, qu’il serve comme par la force que Dieu fournit, afin qu’en toutes choses Dieu soit glorifié par Jésus Christ, à qui est la gloire et la puissance, aux siècles des siècles ! Amen.
Si alguno habla, hable conforme á las palabras de Dios; si alguno ministra, ministre conforme á la virtud que Dios suministra: para que en todas cosas sea Dios glorificado por Jesucristo, al cual es gloria é imperio para siempre jamás. Amén.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Bien-aimés, ne trouvez pas étrange le feu ardent qui est au milieu de vous, qui est venu sur vous pour votre épreuve, comme s’il vous arrivait quelque chose d’extraordinaire ;
Carísimos, no os maravilléis cuando sois examinados por fuego, lo cual se hace para vuestra prueba, como si alguna cosa peregrina os aconteciese;
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you.
mais, en tant que vous avez part aux souffrances de Christ, réjouissez-vous, afin qu’aussi, à la révélation de sa gloire, vous vous réjouissiez avec transport.
Antes bien gozaos en que sois participantes de las aflicciones de Cristo; para que también en la revelación de su gloria os gocéis en triunfo.
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.
Si vous êtes insultés pour le nom de Christ, vous êtes bienheureux, car l’Esprit de gloire et de Dieu repose sur vous : de leur part, il est blasphémé, mais quant à vous, glorifié.
Si sois vituperados en el nombre de Cristo, sois bienaventurados; porque la gloria y el Espíritu de Dios reposan sobre vosotros. Cierto, según ellos, él es blasfemado, mas según vosotros es glorificado.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.
Mais que nul de vous ne souffre comme meurtrier ou voleur, ou comme faisant le mal, ou s’ingérant dans les affaires d’autrui ;
Así que, ninguno de vosotros padezca como homicida, ó ladrón, ó malhechor, ó por meterse en negocios ajenos.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

mais si quelqu’un souffre comme chrétien, qu’il n’en ait pas honte, mais qu’il glorifie Dieu en ce nom.

Car le temps est venu de commencer le jugement par la maison de Dieu ; mais s’il commence premièrement par nous, quelle sera la fin de ceux qui n’obéissent pas à l’évangile de Dieu ?
Porque es tiempo de que el juicio comience de la casa de Dios: y si primero comienza por nosotros, ¿qué será el fin de aquellos que no obedecen al evangelio de Dios?
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?
Et si le juste est sauvé difficilement, où paraîtra l’impie et le pécheur ?
Y si el justo con dificultad se salva, ¿á dónde aparecerá el infiel y el pecador?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”
Que ceux donc aussi qui souffrent selon la volonté de Dieu, remettent leurs âmes en faisant le bien, à un fidèle créateur.
Y por eso los que son afligidos según la voluntad de Dios, encomiéndenle sus almas, como á fiel Criador, haciendo bien.
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.
