Silvano, a quien considero un hermano fiel, me ha ayudado a escribir esta breve carta. Les escribo para aconsejarlos y para que estén seguros de que este es el verdadero amor de Dios. Manténganse firmes en ese amor.

Por Silvano, el hermano fiel, según yo pienso, os he escrito brevemente, amonestándoos, y testificando que ésta es la verdadera gracia de Dios, en la cual estáis.

By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
