1 Pedro 5

J’exhorte les anciens qui sont parmi vous, moi qui suis ancien avec eux et témoin des souffrances de Christ, qui aussi ai part à la gloire qui va être révélée :

RUEGO á los ancianos que están entre vosotros, yo anciano también con ellos, y testigo de las aflicciones de Cristo, que soy también participante de la gloria que ha de ser revelada:

The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Therefore I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:

paissez le troupeau de Dieu qui est avec vous, le surveillant, non point par contrainte, mais volontairement, ni pour un gain honteux, mais de bon gré,

Apacentad la grey de Dios que está entre vosotros, teniendo cuidado de ella, no por fuerza, sino voluntariamente; no por ganancia deshonesta, sino de un ánimo pronto;

Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;

ni comme dominant sur des héritages, mais en étant †les modèles du troupeau ;

Y no como teniendo señorío sobre las heredades del Señor, sino siendo dechados de la grey.

Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.

et quand le souverain pasteur sera manifesté, vous recevrez la couronne inflétrissable de gloire.

Y cuando apareciere el Príncipe de los pastores, vosotros recibiréis la corona incorruptible de gloria.

And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

Pareillement, vous, jeunes gens, soyez soumis aux anciens ; et tous, les uns à l’égard des autres, soyez revêtus d’humilité ; car Dieu résiste aux orgueilleux, mais il donne †la grâce aux humbles.

Igualmente, mancebos, sed sujetos á los ancianos; y todos sumisos unos á otros, revestíos de humildad; porque Dios resiste á los soberbios, y da gracia á los humildes.

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility and subject yourselves to one another; for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Humiliez-vous donc sous la puissante main de Dieu, afin qu’il vous élève quand le temps sera venu,

Humillaos pues bajo la poderosa mano de Dios, para que él os ensalce cuando fuere tiempo;

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

rejetant sur lui tout votre souci, car il a soin de vous.

Echando toda vuestra solicitud en él, porque él tiene cuidado de vosotros.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Soyez sobres, veillez : votre adversaire, le diable, comme un lion rugissant, rôde autour †de vous, cherchant qui il pourra dévorer.

Sed templados, y velad; porque vuestro adversario el diablo, cual león rugiente, anda alrededor buscando á quien devore:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Résistez-lui, étant fermes dans la foi, sachant que les mêmes souffrances s’accomplissent dans vos frères qui sont dans le monde.

Al cual resistid firmes en la fe, sabiendo que las mismas aflicciones han de ser cumplidas en la compañía de vuestros hermanos que están en el mundo.

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.

Mais le Dieu de toute grâce, qui vous a appelés à sa gloire éternelle dans le christ Jésus, lorsque vous aurez souffert un peu de temps, vous rendra lui-même accomplis, vous affermira, vous fortifiera, et vous établira sur un fondement †inébranlable.

Mas el Dios de toda gracia, que nos ha llamado á su gloria eterna por Jesucristo, después que hubiereis un poco de tiempo padecido, él mismo os perfeccione, confirme, corrobore y establezca.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

À lui †la gloire et la puissance, aux siècles des siècles ! Amen.
