Je prie les Anciens qui sont parmi vous, moi qui suis Ancien avec eux, et témoin des souffrances de Christ, et participant de la gloire qui doit être révélée, et je leur dis :
RUEGO á los ancianos que están entre vosotros, yo anciano también con ellos, y testigo de las aflicciones de Cristo, que soy también participante de la gloria que ha de ser revelada:
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Paissez le Troupeau de Christ qui vous est commis, en prenant garde sur lui, non point par contrainte, mais volontairement ; non point pour un gain déshonnête, mais par un principe d’affection.
Apacentad la grey de Dios que está entre vosotros, teniendo cuidado de ella, no por fuerza, sino voluntariamente; no por ganancia deshonesta, sino de un ánimo pronto;
Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
Et non point comme ayant domination sur les héritages du Seigneur, mais en telle manière que vous soyez pour modèle au Troupeau.
Y no como teniendo señorío sobre las heredades del Señor, sino siendo dechados de la grey.
Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
Et quand le souverain Pasteur apparaîtra, vous recevrez la couronne incorruptible de gloire.
Y cuando apareciere el Príncipe de los pastores, vosotros recibiréis la corona incorruptible de gloria.
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

De même, vous jeunes gens, soyez soumis aux Anciens, et ayant tous de la soumission l’un pour l’autre, soyez parés par-dedans d’humilité, parce que Dieu résiste aux orgueilleux, mais il fait grâce aux humbles.
Igualmente, mancebos, sed sujetos á los ancianos; y todos sumisos unos á otros, revestíos de humildad; porque Dios resiste á los soberbios, y da gracia á los humildes.
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Résistez-lui donc en demeurant fermes dans la foi, sachant que les mêmes souffrances s’accomplissent en la compagnie de vos frères, qui sont dans le monde.
Al cual resistid firmes en la fe, sabiendo que las mismas aflicciones han de ser cumplidas en la compañía de vuestros hermanos que están en el mundo.
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
Or le Dieu de toute grâce, qui nous a appelés à sa gloire éternelle en Jésus-Christ, après que vous aurez souffert un peu de temps, vous rende accomplis, vous affermisse, vous fortifie, et vous établisse.
Mas el Dios de toda gracia, que nos ha llamado á su gloria eterna por Jesucristo, después que hubiereis un poco de tiempo padecido, él mismo os perfeccione, confirme, corrobore y establezca.
