Palabra de Dios para Ti
1Ruego a los ancianos entre ustedes, yo, anciano también con ellos y testigo de los padecimientos de Cristo, que también soy participante de la gloria que será manifestada:
2Apacienten la grey de Dios que está entre ustedes, no por obligación, sino de buena voluntad según Dios, no con avaricia de ganancia material, sino voluntariamente,
3no como el que tiene señorío sobre las heredades, sino como ejemplos del rebaño.
4Cuando se manifieste el Supremo Pastor, recibirán la corona incorruptible de gloria.
5Igualmente los varones jóvenes, sométanse a los ancianos, y todos unos a otros, vístanse de humildad, porque: Dios resiste a los arrogantes y da gracia a los humildes.
6Por tanto, humíllense bajo la poderosa mano de Dios para que los exalte cuando sea tiempo.
7Echen toda su ansiedad sobre Él, porque Él tiene cuidado de ustedes.
8Sean sobrios y velen. Su enemigo el diablo anda alrededor como león que ruge y busca a quien devorar,
9al cual resistan firmes en la fe, pues saben que los mismos padecimientos están sobre su hermandad en el mundo.
10El Dios de toda gracia, Quien los llamó a su gloria eterna en Cristo, después que padezcan un poco, Él mismo los perfeccionará, confirmará, fortalecerá y establecerá.
11A Él sea la soberanía por los siglos. Amén.
12Por medio de Silvano, el fiel hermano, como lo considero, les escribí con pocas palabras para exhortar y testificar que ésta es la verdadera gracia de Dios, en la cual estén firmes.
13Los saluda la iglesia que está en Babilonia, elegida juntamente con ustedes, y Marcos mi hijo.
14Salúdense los unos a los otros con beso de amor. Paz a todos ustedes, los que están en Cristo.

1RUEGO á los ancianos que están entre vosotros, yo anciano también con ellos, y testigo de las aflicciones de Cristo, que soy también participante de la gloria que ha de ser revelada:
2Apacentad la grey de Dios que está entre vosotros, teniendo cuidado de ella, no por fuerza, sino voluntariamente; no por ganancia deshonesta, sino de un ánimo pronto;
3Y no como teniendo señorío sobre las heredades del Señor, sino siendo dechados de la grey.
4Y cuando apareciere el Príncipe de los pastores, vosotros recibiréis la corona incorruptible de gloria.
5Igualmente, mancebos, sed sujetos á los ancianos; y todos sumisos unos á otros, revestíos de humildad; porque Dios resiste á los soberbios, y da gracia á los humildes.
6Humillaos pues bajo la poderosa mano de Dios, para que él os ensalce cuando fuere tiempo;
7Echando toda vuestra solicitud en él, porque él tiene cuidado de vosotros.
8Sed templados, y velad; porque vuestro adversario el diablo, cual león rugiente, anda alrededor buscando á quien devore:
9Al cual resistid firmes en la fe, sabiendo que las mismas aflicciones han de ser cumplidas en la compañía de vuestros hermanos que están en el mundo.
10Mas el Dios de toda gracia, que nos ha llamado á su gloria eterna por Jesucristo, después que hubiereis un poco de tiempo padecido, él mismo os perfeccione, confirme, corrobore y establezca.
11A él sea gloria é imperio para siempre. Amén.
12Por Silvano, el hermano fiel, según yo pienso, os he escrito brevemente, amonestándoos, y testificando que ésta es la verdadera gracia de Dios, en la cual estáis.
13La iglesia que está en Babilonia, juntamente elegida con vosotros, os saluda, y Marcos mi hijo.
14Saludaos unos á otros con ósculo de caridad. Paz sea con todos vosotros los que estáis en Jesucristo. Amén.

1The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
3Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.
4And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
12By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
13The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
14Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1Therefore I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:
2shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
3not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
4When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.
5Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility and subject yourselves to one another; for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
6Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,
7casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
8Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
10But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
