1 Samuel 10

Or Samuel avait pris une fiole d’huile, laquelle il répandit sur la tête de Saül, puis il le baisa, et lui dit : L’Eternel ne t’a-t-il pas oint sur son héritage, pour en être le conducteur ?

TOMANDO entonces Samuel una ampolla de aceite, derramóla sobre su cabeza, y besólo, y díjole: ¿No te ha ungido Jehová por capitán sobre su heredad?

Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?

Then Samuel took the vial of oil and poured it on his head, then kissed him and said, “Hasn’t the LORD anointed you to be prince over his inheritance?

Quand tu seras aujourd’hui parti d’avec moi, tu trouveras deux hommes près du sépulcre de Rachel, sur la frontière de Benjamin à Tseltsah, qui te diront : Les ânesses que tu étais allé chercher ont été trouvées ; et voici, ton père ne pense plus aux ânesses, et il est en peine de vous, disant : Que ferai-je au sujet de mon fils ?

Hoy, después que te hayas apartado de mí, hallarás dos hombres junto al sepulcro de Rachêl, en el término de Benjamín, en Selsah, los cuales te dirán: Las asnas que habías ido á buscar, se han hallado; tu padre pues ha dejado ya el negocio de las asnas, si bien está angustioso por vosotros, diciendo: ¿Qué haré acerca de mi hijo?

When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?

When you have departed from me today, then you will find two men by Rachel’s tomb, on the border of Benjamin at Zelzah. They will tell you, ‘The donkeys which you went to look for have been found; and behold, your father has stopped caring about the donkeys and is anxious for you, saying, “What shall I do for my son?”’

Et lorsque étant parti de là tu auras passé outre, et que tu seras venu jusqu’au bois de chênes de Tabor ; tu seras rencontré par trois hommes qui montent vers Dieu, en la maison du Dieu Fort ; l’un desquels porte trois chevreaux, l’autre trois pains, et l’autre un baril de vin.

Y como de allí te fueres más adelante, y llegares á la campiña de Tabor, te saldrán al encuentro tres hombres que suben á Dios en Beth-el, llevando el uno tres cabritos, y el otro tres tortas de pan, y el tercero una vasija de vino:

Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Beth-el, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:

“Then you will go on forward from there, and you will come to the oak of Tabor. Three men will meet you there going up to God to Bethel: one carrying three young goats, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a container of wine.

Et ils te demanderont comment tu te portes, et ils te donneront deux pains, que tu recevras de leurs mains.

Los cuales, luego que te hayan saludado, te darán dos panes, los que tomarás de manos de ellos.

And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.

They will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall receive from their hand.

Après cela tu viendras au coteau de Dieu, où est la garnison des Philistins ; et il arrivera que sitôt que tu seras entré dans la ville, tu rencontreras une compagnie de Prophètes descendant du haut lieu, ayant devant eux une musette, un tambour, une flûte, et un violon, et qui prophétisent.

De allí vendrás al collado de Dios donde está la guarnición de los Filisteos; y cuando entrares allá en la ciudad encontrarás una compañía de profetas que descienden del alto, y delante de ellos salterio, y adufe, y flauta, y arpa, y ellos profetizando:

After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

“After that you will come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is; and it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with a lute, a tambourine, a pipe, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying.

Alors l’Esprit de l’Eternel te saisira, et tu prophétiseras avec eux, et tu seras changé en un autre homme.

Y el espíritu de Jehová te arrebatará, y profetizarás con ellos, y serás mudado en otro hombre.

And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.

Then the LORD’s Spirit will come mightily on you, then you will prophesy with them and will be turned into another man.

Et quand ces signes-là te seront arrivés, fais tout ce qui se présentera à faire ; car Dieu est avec toi.

Y cuando te hubieren sobrevenido estas señales, haz lo que te viniere á la mano, porque Dios es contigo.

And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.

Let it be, when these signs have come to you, that you do what is appropriate for the occasion; for God is with you.

Puis tu descendras devant moi à Guilgal, et voici, je descendrai vers toi pour offrir des holocaustes, et sacrifier des sacrifices de prospérités, tu m’attendras là sept jours, jusqu’à ce que je sois arrivé vers toi, et je te déclarerai ce que tu devras faire.

Y bajarás delante de mí á Gilgal; y luego descenderé yo á ti para sacrificar holocaustos, é inmolar víctimas pacíficas. Espera siete días, hasta que yo venga á ti, y te enseñe lo que has de hacer.

And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.

“Go down ahead of me to Gilgal; and behold, I will come down to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings. Wait seven days, until I come to you and show you what you are to do.”

Il arriva donc qu’aussitôt que Saül eut tourné le dos pour s’en aller d’avec Samuel, Dieu changea son coeur en un autre, et tous ces signes-là lui arrivèrent en ce même jour.

Y fué que así como tornó él su hombro para partirse de Samuel, mudóle Dios su corazón; y todas estas señales acaecieron en aquel día.

And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.

Car quand ils furent venus au coteau, voici une troupe de Prophètes vint au devant de lui ; et l’Esprit de Dieu le saisit, et il prophétisa au milieu d’eux.

Y cuando llegaron allá al collado, he aquí la compañía de los profetas que venía á encontrarse con él, y el espíritu de Dios lo arrebató, y profetizó entre ellos.

And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.

When they came there to the hill, behold, a band of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came mightily on him, and he prophesied among them.

Et il arriva que quand tous ceux qui l’avaient connu auparavant, eurent vu qu’il était avec les Prophètes, et qu’il prophétisait, ceux du peuple se dirent l’un à l’autre : Qu’est-il arrivé au fils de Kis ? Saül aussi est-il entre les Prophètes ?

Y aconteció que, cuando todos los que le conocían de ayer y de antes, vieron como profetizaba con los profetas, el pueblo decía el uno al otro: ¿Qué ha sucedido al hijo de Cis? ¿Saúl también entre los profetas?

And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

When all who knew him before saw that, behold, he prophesied with the prophets, then the people said to one another, “What is this that has come to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

Et quelqu’un répondit, et dit : Et qui est leur père ? C’est pourquoi cela passa en proverbe : Saül aussi est-il entre les Prophètes ?

Y alguno de allí respondió, y dijo: ¿Y quién es el padre de ellos? Por esta causa se tornó en proverbio: ¿También Saúl entre los profetas?

And one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?

One from the same place answered, “Who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”

Or Saül ayant cessé de prophétiser, vint au haut lieu.

Y cesó de profetizar, y llegó al alto.

And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.

When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.

Et l’oncle de Saül dit à Saül et à son garçon : Où êtes-vous allés ? Et il répondit : Nous sommes allés chercher les ânesses, mais voyant qu’elles ne se trouvaient point, nous sommes venus vers Samuel.

Y un tío de Saúl dijo á él y á su criado: ¿Dónde fuisteis? Y él respondió: A buscar las asnas; y como vimos que no parecían, fuimos á Samuel.

And Saul’s uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel.

Saul’s uncle said to him and to his servant, “Where did you go?” He said, “To seek the donkeys. When we saw that they were not found, we came to Samuel.”

Et son oncle lui dit : Déclare-moi, je te prie, ce que vous a dit Samuel.

Y dijo el tío de Saúl: Yo te ruego me declares qué os dijo Samuel.

And Saul’s uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.

Saul’s uncle said, “Please tell me what Samuel said to you.”

Et Saül dit à son oncle : Il nous a assuré que les ânesses étaient trouvées ; mais il ne lui déclara point le discours que Samuel lui avait tenu touchant la Royauté.

Y Saúl respondió á su tío: Declarónos expresamente que las asnas habían parecido. Mas del negocio del reino, de que Samuel le había hablado, no le descubrió nada.

And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.

Saul said to his uncle, “He told us plainly that the donkeys were found.” But concerning the matter of the kingdom, of which Samuel spoke, he didn’t tell him.

Or Samuel assembla le peuple devant l’Eternel à Mitspa.

Y Samuel convocó el pueblo á Jehová en Mizpa;

And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;

Samuel called the people together to the LORD to Mizpah;

Et il dit aux enfants d’Israël : Ainsi a dit l’Eternel le Dieu d’Israël : J’ai fait monter Israël hors d’Egypte, et je vous ai délivrés de la main des Egyptiens, et de la main de tous les Royaumes qui vous opprimaient.

Y dijo á los hijos de Israel: Así ha dicho Jehová el Dios de Israel: Yo saqué á Israel de Egipto, y os libré de mano de los Egipcios, y de mano de todos los reinos que os afligieron:

And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:

and he said to the children of Israel, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says ‘I brought Israel up out of Egypt and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all the kingdoms that oppressed you.’

Mais aujourd’hui vous avez rejeté votre Dieu, lequel est celui qui vous a délivrés de tous vos maux, et de vos afflictions, et vous avez dit : Non ; mais établis-nous un Roi. Présentez-vous donc maintenant devant l’Eternel, selon vos Tribus, et selon vos milliers.

Mas vosotros habéis desechado hoy á vuestro Dios, que os guarda de todas vuestras aflicciones y angustias, y dijisteis: No, sino pon rey sobre nosotros. Ahora pues, poneos delante de Jehová por vuestras tribus y por vuestros millares.

And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.

But you have today rejected your God, who himself saves you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and you have said to him, ‘No! Set a king over us!’ Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and by your thousands.”

Ainsi Samuel fit approcher toutes les Tribus d’Israël ; et la Tribu de Benjamin fut saisie.

Y haciendo allegar Samuel todas las tribus de Israel, fué tomada la tribu de Benjamín.

And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.

So Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was chosen.

Après il fit approcher la Tribu de Benjamin selon ses familles ; et la famille de Matri fut saisie ; puis Saül fils de Kis fut saisi, lequel ils cherchèrent, mais il ne se trouva point.

E hizo llegar la tribu de Benjamín por sus linajes, y fué tomada la familia de Matri; y de ella fué tomado Saúl hijo de Cis. Y le buscaron, mas no fué hallado.

When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.

He brought the tribe of Benjamin near by their families and the family of the Matrites was chosen. Then Saul the son of Kish was chosen; but when they looked for him, he could not be found.

Et ils consultèrent encore l’Eternel, en disant: L’homme n’est- il pas encore venu ici ? Et l’Eternel dit : Le voilà caché parmi le bagage.

Preguntaron pues otra vez á Jehová, si había aún de venir allí aquel varón. Y respondió Jehová: He aquí que él está escondido entre el bagaje.

Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.

Therefore they asked of the LORD further, “Is there yet a man to come here?” The LORD answered, “Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage.”

Ils coururent donc, et le tirèrent de là, et il se présenta au milieu du peuple, et il était plus haut que tout le peuple depuis les épaules en haut.

Entonces corrieron, y tomáronlo de allí, y puesto en medio del pueblo, desde el hombro arriba era más alto que todo el pueblo.

And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.

They ran and got him there. When he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.

Et Samuel dit à tout le peuple : Ne voyez-vous pas qu’il n’y en a point en tout le peuple qui soit semblable à celui que l’Eternel a choisi ? Et le peuple jeta des cris de joie, et dit : Vive le Roi.

Y Samuel dijo á todo el pueblo: ¿Habéis visto al que ha elegido Jehová, que no hay semejante á él en todo el pueblo? Entonces el pueblo clamó con alegría, diciendo: Viva el rey.

And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.

Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him whom the LORD has chosen, that there is no one like him among all the people?” All the people shouted and said, “Long live the king!”

Alors Samuel prononça au peuple le droit du Royaume, et l’écrivit dans un livre, lequel il mit devant l’Eternel. Puis Samuel renvoya le peuple, chacun en sa maison.

Samuel recitó luego al pueblo el derecho del reino, y escribiólo en un libro, el cual guardó delante de Jehová.

Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.

Saül aussi s’en alla en sa maison à Guébah, et les gens de guerre dont Dieu avait touché le coeur, s’en allèrent avec lui.

Y envió Samuel á todo el pueblo cada uno á su casa. Y Saúl también se fué á su casa en Gabaa, y fueron con él el ejército, el corazón de los cuales Dios había tocado.

And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.

Saul also went to his house in Gibeah; and the army went with him, whose hearts God had touched.

Mais il y eut de méchants hommes qui dirent : Comment celui-ci nous délivrerait-il ? et ils le méprisèrent, et ne lui apportèrent point de présent ; mais il fit le sourd.

Pero los impíos dijeron: ¿Cómo nos ha de salvar éste? Y tuviéronle en poco, y no le trajeron presente: mas él disimuló.

But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.

But certain worthless fellows said, “How could this man save us?” They despised him, and brought him no tribute. But he held his peace.
