1 Samuel 11

Et voici Saül revenait des champs derrière ses boeufs ; et il dit : Qu’est-ce qu’a ce peuple pour pleurer ainsi ? Et on lui récita ce qu’avaient dit ceux de Jabés.

Y he aquí Saúl que venía del campo, tras los bueyes; y dijo Saúl: ¿Qué tiene el pueblo, que lloran? Y contáronle las palabras de los hombres de Jabes.

And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.

Behold, Saul came following the oxen out of the field; and Saul said, “What ails the people that they weep?” They told him the words of the men of Jabesh.
