9Luego les dijeron a los mensajeros que habían venido de Jabes: “Digan a los habitantes de Jabes de Galaad que mañana, cuando el sol esté en lo más alto, serán rescatados”. Los mensajeros regresaron y dieron la noticia, y todos en Jabes se alegraron.

9Y respondieron á los mensajeros que habían venido: Así diréis á los de Jabes de Galaad: Mañana en calentando el sol, tendréis salvamento. Y vinieron los mensajeros, y declaráronlo á los de Jabes, los cuales se holgaron.

9And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.
