1 Samuel 12

Alors Samuel dit à tout Israël: "Or donc, j'ai condescendu à tout ce que vous m'avez dit, j'ai établi sur vous un roi.

Y DIJO Samuel á todo Israel: He aquí, yo he oído vuestra voz en todas las cosas que me habéis dicho, y os he puesto rey.

And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.

Samuel said to all Israel, “Behold, I have listened to your voice in all that you said to me, and have made a king over you.

Désormais, c'est ce roi qui marche à votre tête; pour moi, je suis vieux et caduc, et mes fils sont confondus parmi vous; mais je vous ai gouvernés, moi, depuis ma jeunesse jusqu'à ce jour.

Ahora pues, he aquí vuestro rey va delante de vosotros. Yo soy ya viejo y cano: mas mis hijos están con vosotros, y yo he andado delante de vosotros desde mi mocedad hasta este día.

And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.

Eh bien! Accusez-moi à la face de l'Eternel et à la face de son élu, s'il est quelqu'un dont j'aie pris le bœuf ou l'âne, quelqu'un que j'aie lésé ou pressuré, quelqu'un qui m'ait déterminé, par un présent, à fermer les yeux sur sa faute… Je suis prêt à vous le rendre."

Aquí estoy; atestiguad contra mí delante de Jehová y delante de su ungido, si he tomado el buey de alguno, ó si he tomado el asno de alguno, ó si he calumniado á alguien, ó si he agraviado á alguno, ó si de alguien he tomado cohecho por el cual haya cubierto mis ojos: y os satisfaré.

Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

Here I am. Witness against me before the LORD and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a bribe to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

Ils répondirent: "Tu ne nous as point lésés, point pressurés, tu n'as rien accepté de personne."

Entonces dijeron: Nunca nos has calumniado, ni agraviado, ni has tomado algo de mano de ningún hombre.

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand.

They said, “You have not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither have you taken anything from anyone’s hand.”

Et il leur dit: "Dieu soit témoin contre vous en ce jour, et témoin son élu, que vous n'avez rien trouvé à ma charge!" Et l'on répondit: "Qu'ils soient témoins!"

Y él les dijo: Jehová es testigo contra vosotros, y su ungido también es testigo en este día, que no habéis hallado en mi mano cosa ninguna. Y ellos respondieron: Así es.

And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.

He said to them, “The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness today, that you have not found anything in my hand.” They said, “He is witness.”

Et Samuel dit au peuple: "Dieu, dis-je, qui suscita Moïse et Aaron, et qui tira vos aïeux du pays d'Egypte!...

Entonces Samuel dijo al pueblo: Jehová es quien hizo á Moisés y á Aarón, y que sacó á vuestros padres de la tierra de Egipto.

And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.

Samuel said to the people, “It is the LORD who appointed Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.

Et maintenant tenez-vous là, je veux vous prendre à partie devant l'Eternel, vous rappeler tous les bienfaits qu'il a dispensés à vous et à vos pères,

Ahora pues, aguardad, y yo os haré cargo delante de Jehová de todas las justicias de Jehová, que ha hecho con vosotros y con vuestros padres.

Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.

alors que Jacob était venu en Egypte, et que vos pères implorèrent l'Eternel, et qu'il donna mission à Moise et à Aaron de faire sortir vos pères de l'Egypte et de les installer dans ce pays-ci.

Después que Jacob hubo entrado en Egipto y vuestros padres clamaron á Jehová, Jehová envió á Moisés y á Aarón, los cuales sacaron á vuestros padres de Egipto, y los hicieron habitar en este lugar.

When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.

Mais eux, ils oublièrent l'Eternel, leur Dieu; et il les livra à Sisara, chef de l'armée de Haçor, et aux Philistins et au roi de Moab, qui leur firent la guerre.

Y olvidaron á Jehová su Dios, y él los vendió en la mano de Sísara capitán del ejército de Asor, y en la mano de los Filisteos, y en la mano del rey de Moab, los cuales les hicieron guerra.

And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.

But they forgot the LORD their God; and he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the army of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them.

Alors ils implorèrent l'Eternel en disant: "Nous sommes coupables! Car nous avons abandonné le Seigneur pour servir les Bealim et les Astaroth; mais à présent délivre-nous de la main de nos ennemis, nous voulons te servir!"

Y ellos clamaron á Jehová, y dijeron: Pecamos, que hemos dejado á Jehová, y hemos servido á los Baales y á Astaroth: líbranos pues ahora de la mano de nuestros enemigos, y te serviremos.

And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.

They cried to the LORD, and said, ‘We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD and have served the Baals and the Ashtaroth; but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve you.’

Et le Seigneur a suscité Jérubbaal et Bedân, Jephté et Samuel; il vous a soustraits au pouvoir de vos ennemis d'alentour, et vous avez recouvré la sécurité.

Entonces Jehová envió á Jerobaal, y á Bedán, y á Jephté, y á Samuel, y os libró de mano de vuestros enemigos alrededor, y habitasteis seguros.

And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.

Or, voyant que Nahach, roi des Ammonites, marchait contre vous, vous m'avez dit: "Non, c'est un roi qu'il nous faut", quand vous aviez pour roi l'Eternel, votre Dieu!

Y habiendo visto que Naas rey de lo hijos de Ammón venía contra vosotros, me dijisteis: No, sino rey reinará sobre nosotros; siendo vuestro rey Jehová vuestro Dios.

And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.

“When you saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, you said to me, ‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the LORD your God was your king.

Eh bien, voici ce roi que vous avez voulu, que vous avez sollicité; le voici, Dieu vous l'a donné,

Ahora pues, ved aquí vuestro rey que habéis elegido, el cual pedisteis; ya veis que Jehová ha puesto sobre vosotros rey.

Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.

Now therefore see the king whom you have chosen and whom you have asked for. Behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

à condition que vous révériez l'Eternel; que vous lui rendiez hommage et obéissance, que vous ne soyez point rebelles à sa parole, et que vous demeuriez, vous comme le roi qui vous gouverne, fidèles à l'Eternel, votre Dieu.

Si temiereis á Jehová y le sirviereis, y oyereis su voz, y no fuereis rebeldes á la palabra de Jehová, así vosotros como el rey que reina sobre vosotros, seréis en pos de Jehová vuestro Dios.

If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:

If you will fear the LORD, and serve him, and listen to his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then both you and also the king who reigns over you are followers of the LORD your God.

Mais si, indociles à la voix de l'Eternel, vous méconnaissez sa parole, la main de l'Eternel vous atteindra comme elle atteignit vos pères.

Mas si no oyereis la voz de Jehová, y si fuereis rebeldes á las palabras de Jehová, la mano de Jehová será contra vosotros como contra vuestros padres.

But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.

But if you will not listen to the LORD’s voice, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the LORD’s hand will be against you, as it was against your fathers.

En ce moment même, préparez-vous à être témoins d'une chose insigne, que le Seigneur va accomplir à vos yeux.

Esperad aún ahora, y mirad esta gran cosa que Jehová hará delante de vuestros ojos.

Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.

“Now therefore stand still and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.

N'est-ce pas, c'est aujourd'hui la moisson du froment? Je vais invoquer le Seigneur, pour qu'il fasse tonner et pleuvoir: comprenez alors et voyez combien vous avez mal agi aux yeux du Seigneur en demandant un roi."

¿No es ahora la siega de los trigos? Yo clamaré á Jehová, y él dará truenos y aguas; para que conozcáis y veáis que es grande vuestra maldad que habéis hecho en los ojos de Jehová, pidiéndoos rey.

Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.

Isn’t it wheat harvest today? I will call to the LORD, that he may send thunder and rain; and you will know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the LORD’s sight, in asking for a king.”

Alors Samuel invoqua le Seigneur et le Seigneur, ce jour même, fit tonner et pleuvoir; et tout le peuple éprouva un profond respect pour Dieu et pour Samuel,

Y Samuel clamó á Jehová; y Jehová dió truenos y aguas en aquel día; y todo el pueblo temió en gran manera á Jehová y á Samuel.

So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

et tous dirent à Samuel: "Intercède pour tes serviteurs auprès de l'Eternel, ton Dieu, afin que nous ne mourions pas, pour avoir, à tous nos péchés, ajouté le tort de demander un roi!"

Entonces dijo todo el pueblo á Samuel: Ruega por tus siervos á Jehová tu Dios, que no muramos: porque á todos nuestros pecados hemos añadido este mal de pedir rey para nosotros.

And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.

All the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the LORD your God, that we not die; for we have added to all our sins this evil, to ask for a king.”

Samuel répondit au peuple: "Soyez sans crainte. Oui, vous êtes bien coupables; du moins ne cessez jamais de suivre l'Eternel, servez l'Eternel de tout votre cœur.

Y Samuel respondió al pueblo: No temáis: vosotros habéis cometido todo este mal; mas con todo eso no os apartéis de en pos de Jehová, sino servid á Jehová con todo vuestro corazón:

And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;

Samuel said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. You have indeed done all this evil; yet don’t turn away from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart.

Vous ne le quitteriez que pour des idoles de néant, impuissantes à secourir et à sauver, puisqu'elles sont néant.

No os apartéis en pos de las vanidades, que no aprovechan ni libran, porque son vanidades.

And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.

Don’t turn away to go after vain things which can’t profit or deliver, for they are vain.

Mais l'Eternel ne délaisse point son peuple, pour l'honneur de son saint nom, parce qu'il lui a plu de vous adopter pour son peuple.

Pues Jehová no desamparará á su pueblo por su grande nombre; porque Jehová ha querido haceros pueblo suyo.

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased the LORD to make you a people for himself.

Moi-même, d'ailleurs, je n'aurai garde d'offenser l'Eternel en cessant de prier pour vous, et je continuerai à vous guider dans la voie du bien et de la droiture.

Así que, lejos sea de mí que peque yo contra Jehová cesando de rogar por vosotros; antes yo os enseñaré por el camino bueno y derecho.

Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

Surtout, révérez l'Eternel, servez-le sincèrement et de tout votre cœur, en considérant les grandes choses qu'il a faites pour vous.

Solamente temed á Jehová, y servidle de verdad con todo vuestro corazón, porque considerad cuán grandes cosas ha hecho con vosotros.

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

Que si vous agissez mal, vous serez perdus, et vous et votre roi.
