1 Samuel 13

Da sprach ich: Nunwerden die Philister zu mir herabkommen gen Gilgal, und ich habe das Angesicht des HERRN nicht erbeten; da wagte ich's und opferte Brandopfer.

Me dije: Los Filisteos descenderán ahora contra mí á Gilgal, y yo no he implorado el favor de Jehová. Esforcéme pues, y ofrecí holocausto.

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
