1 Samuel 13

Ora i Filistei mi piomberanno addosso a Ghilgal, e io non ho ancora implorato l’Eterno! Così, mi son fatto violenza, ed ho offerto l’olocausto”.

Me dije: Los Filisteos descenderán ahora contra mí á Gilgal, y yo no he implorado el favor de Jehová. Esforcéme pues, y ofrecí holocausto.

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
