And he continued seven days for the appointed Or, set time testimony, as Samuel told him, and Samuel came not to Galgala, and his people were dispersed from him.

And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

He stayed seven days, according to the time set by Samuel; but Samuel didn’t come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him.
