1 Samuel 14

Dijo entonces Saúl al Señor Dios de Israel: Oh Señor Dios de Israel, danos a entender, ¿por qué causa no has hoy respondido a tu siervo? Si la culpa está en mí o en Jonatás, mi hijo, decláralo; pero si tu pueblo es el culpado, manifiesta tu santidad. Y cayó la suerte sobre Jonatás y Saúl, quedando libre el pueblo.

Entonces dijo Saúl á Jehová Dios de Israel: Da perfección. Y fueron tomados Jonathán y Saúl, y el pueblo salió libre.

Therefore Saul said unto the LORD God of Israel, Give a perfect lot. And Saul and Jonathan were taken: but the people escaped.

Therefore Saul said to the LORD, the God of Israel, “Show the right.” Jonathan and Saul were chosen, but the people escaped.
