1 Samuel 15

Et Samuel dit à Saül : C'est moi que l'Eternel a envoyé pour t'oindre comme roi sur son peuple, sur Israël ; et maintenant écoute les paroles de l'Eternel.

Y SAMUEL dijo á Saúl: Jehová me envió á que te ungiese por rey sobre su pueblo Israel: oye pues la voz de las palabras de Jehová.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of the LORD’s words.

Ainsi a parlé l'Eternel des armées : Je me suis remis en mémoire ce qu'Amalek a fait à Israël, lorsqu'il l'attaqua sur le chemin quand il montait d'Egypte.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Acuérdome de lo que hizo Amalec á Israel; que se le opuso en el camino, cuando subía de Egipto.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

The LORD of Armies says, ‘I remember what Amalek did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up out of Egypt.

Maintenant, va et frappe Amalek, et vouez à l'interdit tout ce qui lui appartient ; tu ne l'épargneras point, et tu feras mourir hommes et femmes, enfants et nourrissons, bœufs et menu bétail, chameaux et ânes.

Ve pues, y hiere á Amalec, y destruiréis en él todo lo que tuviere: y no te apiades de él: mata hombres y mujeres, niños y mamantes, vacas y ovejas, camellos y asnos.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don’t spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and nursing baby, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Et Saül le fit savoir au peuple et il les passa en revue à Télaïm ; †il y avait deux cent mille hommes de pied et dix mille hommes de Juda.

Saúl pues juntó el pueblo, y reconociólos en Telaim, doscientos mil de á pie, y diez mil hombres de Judá.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

Saul summoned the people, and counted them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen and ten thousand men of Judah.

Et Saül arriva jusqu'à là ville d'Amalek, et il mit une embuscade dans la vallée.

Y viniendo Saúl á la ciudad de Amalec, puso emboscada en el valle.

And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

Saul came to the city of Amalek, and set an ambush in the valley.

Et Saül dit aux Kéniens : Allez, retirez-vous, descendez du milieu d'Amalek, de peur que je ne t'enveloppe avec lui ; car vous avez usé de bonté envers tous les fils d'Israël quand ils montaient d'Egypte. Et les Kéniens se retirèrent du milieu d'Amalek.

Y dijo Saúl al Cineo: Idos, apartaos, y salid de entre los de Amalec, para que no te destruya juntamente con él: pues que tú hiciste misericordia con todos los hijos de Israel, cuando subían de Egipto. Apartóse pues el Cineo de entre los de Amalec.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; for you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Et Saül battit Amalek depuis Havila jusqu'à Sur, qui est en face de l'Egypte ;

Y Saúl hirió á Amalec, desde Havila hasta llegar á Shur, que está á la frontera de Egipto.

And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

Saul struck the Amalekites, from Havilah as you go to Shur, which is before Egypt.

et il prit vivant Agag, roi d'Amalek, et il voua tout le peuple à l'interdit, le passant au fil de l'épée.

Y tomó vivo á Agag rey de Amalec, mas á todo el pueblo mató á filo de espada.

And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

Et Saül et le peuple épargnèrent Agag et ce qu'il y avait de meilleur en fait de moutons et de bœufs et d'animaux de la seconde portée, et les agneaux, et tout ce qu'il y avait de bon ; et ils ne voulurent pas le vouer à l'interdit ; et tout ce qui était chétif et sans valeur, ils le détruisirent.

Y Saúl y el pueblo perdonaron á Agag, y á lo mejor de las ovejas, y al ganado mayor, á los gruesos y á los carneros, y á todo lo bueno: que no lo quisieron destruir: mas todo lo que era vil y flaco destruyeron.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Et la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Samuel en ces termes :

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Samuel, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

Then the LORD’s word came to Samuel, saying,

Je me repens d'avoir établi Saül comme roi, car il s'est détourné de moi et n'a pas observé mes paroles. Et Samuel fut fâché, et il cria à l'Eternel toute la nuit.

Pésame de haber puesto por rey á Saúl, porque se ha vuelto de en pos de mí, y no ha cumplido mis palabras. Y apesadumbróse Samuel, y clamó á Jehová toda aquella noche.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

“It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to the LORD all night.

Et le lendemain matin Samuel alla à la rencontre de Saül. Et on dit à Samuël : Saül est allé à Carmel, et voici, il s'est érigé un monument, et il s'en est retourné, et passant plus loin il est descendu à Guilgal.

Madrugó luego Samuel para ir á encontrar á Saúl por la mañana; y fué dado aviso á Samuel, diciendo: Saúl ha venido al Carmel, y he aquí él se ha levantado un trofeo, y después volviendo, ha pasado y descendido á Gilgal.

And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.

Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning; and Samuel was told, saying, “Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a monument for himself, turned, passed on, and went down to Gilgal.”

Et Samuel vint vers Saül ; et Saül lui dit : Sois béni de l'Eternel ! J'ai exécuté la parole de l'Eternel.

Vino pues Samuel á Saúl, y Saúl le dijo: Bendito seas tú de Jehová; yo he cumplido la palabra de Jehová.

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him, “You are blessed by the LORD! I have performed the commandment of the LORD.”

Et Samuel dit : Et qu'est-ce que ce bêlement de menu bétail qui frappe mes oreilles et ce mugissement de bœufs que j'entends ?

Samuel entonces dijo: ¿Pues qué balido de ganados y bramido de bueyes es este que yo oigo con mis oídos?

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Samuel said, “Then what does this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the cattle which I hear mean?”

Et Saül dit : Ils les ont amenés de chez les Amalékites, car le peuple a épargné ce qu'il y avait de meilleur en fait de menu et de gros bétail afin de faire des sacrifices à l'Eternel ton Dieu ; et le reste, nous l'avons voué à l'interdit.

Y Saúl respondió: De Amalec los han traído; porque el pueblo perdonó á lo mejor de las ovejas y de las vacas, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios; pero lo demás lo destruimos.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the cattle, to sacrifice to the LORD your God. We have utterly destroyed the rest.”

Et Samuel dit à Saül : C'est assez ! Je te déclarerai ce que l'Eternel m'a dit cette nuit. Et il lui dit. Parle !

Entonces dijo Samuel á Saúl: Déjame declararte lo que Jehová me ha dicho esta noche. Y él le respondió: Di.

Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stay, and I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” He said to him, “Say on.”

Et Samuel dit : N'est-ce pas ? quand tu étais petit à tes propres yeux, †tu es devenu chef des tribus d'Israël et l'Eternel t'a oint pour roi sur Israël ?

Y dijo Samuel: Siendo tú pequeño en tus ojos ¿no has sido hecho cabeza á las tribus de Israel, y Jehová te ha ungido por rey sobre Israel?

And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

Samuel said, “Though you were little in your own sight, weren’t you made the head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king over Israel;

Et l'Eternel t'a donné mission et t'a dit : Va, et voue à l'interdit ces pécheurs, les Amalékites, et combats-les jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient exterminés.

Y envióte Jehová en jornada, y dijo: Ve, y destruye los pecadores de Amalec, y hazles guerra hasta que los acabes.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

and the LORD sent you on a journey, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’

Et pourquoi n'as-tu pas écouté la voix de l'Eternel, et t'es-tu jeté sur le butin et as-tu fait ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Eternel ?

¿Por qué pues no has oído la voz de Jehová, sino que vuelto al despojo, has hecho lo malo en los ojos de Jehová?

Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

Why then didn’t you obey the LORD’s voice, but took the plunder, and did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight?”

Et Saül dit à Samuel : Mais oui, j'ai écouté la voix de l'Eternel et j'ai suivi le chemin où l'Eternel m'avait envoyé, et j'ai amené Agag, roi d'Amalek, et Amalek je l'ai voué à l'interdit.

Y Saúl respondió á Samuel: Antes he oído la voz de Jehová, y fuí á la jornada que Jehová me envió, y he traído á Agag rey de Amalec, y he destruído á los Amalecitas:

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the LORD’s voice, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Et le peuple a pris sur le butin du menu et du gros bétail, comme prémices de l'interdit, pour faire des sacrifices à l'Eternel ton Dieu à Guilgal.

Mas el pueblo tomó del despojo ovejas y vacas, las primicias del anatema, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios en Gilgal.

But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

But the people took of the plunder, sheep and cattle, the best of the devoted things, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”

Et Samuel dit : L'Eternel prend-il plaisir aux holocaustes et aux sacrifices comme à ce qu'on écoute la voix de l'Eternel ? Voici, l'obéissance vaut mieux que le sacrifice ; être attentif vaut mieux que la graisse des béliers.

Y Samuel dijo: ¿Tiene Jehová tanto contentamiento con los holocaustos y víctimas, como en obedecer á las palabras de Jehová? Ciertamente el obedecer es mejor que los sacrificios; y el prestar atención que el sebo de los carneros:

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the LORD’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

Car la rébellion est autant que le péché de divination et la résistance est autant que l'idolâtrie et les théraphins. Puisque tu as rejeté la parole de l'Eternel, il te rejette pour n'être plus roi.

Porque como pecado de adivinación es la rebelión, y como ídolos é idolatría el infringir. Por cuanto tú desechaste la palabra de Jehová, él también te ha desechado para que no seas rey.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected the LORD’s word, he has also rejected you from being king.”

Et Saül dit à Samuel : J'ai péché, car j'ai transgressé l'ordre de l'Eternel et tes paroles ; parce que j'ai craint le peuple, et j'ai écouté sa voix.

Entonces Saúl dijo á Samuel: Yo he pecado; que he quebrantado el dicho de Jehová y tus palabras: porque temí al pueblo, consentí á la voz de ellos. Perdona pues ahora mi pecado,

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

Et maintenant pardonne, je te prie, ma faute ; et reviens avec moi et je me prosternerai devant l'Eternel.

Y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová.

Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.”

Et Samuel dit à Saül : Je ne retournerai pas avec toi, car tu as rejeté la parole de l'Eternel, et l'Eternel te rejette, afin que tu ne sois plus roi sur Israël.

Y Samuel respondió á Saúl: No volveré contigo; porque desechaste la palabra de Jehová, y Jehová te ha desechado para que no seas rey sobre Israel.

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected the LORD’s word, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

Et comme Samuel se tournait pour s'en aller, il le saisit par le pan de son manteau, qui se déchira.

Y volviéndose Samuel para irse, él echó mano de la orla de su capa, y desgarróse.

And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.

As Samuel turned around to go away, Saul grabbed the skirt of his robe, and it tore.

Et Samuel lui dit : L'Eternel a déchiré aujourd'hui la royauté d'Israël de dessus toi, et il l'a donnée à ton prochain qui est meilleur que toi ;

Entonces Samuel le dijo: Jehová ha desgarrado hoy de ti el reino de Israel, y lo ha dado á tu prójimo mejor que tú.

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.

Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours who is better than you.

et certainement †celui qui est la splendeur d'Israël ne ment pas et ne se repent, pas, car il n'est pas un homme pour se repentir.

Y también el Vencedor de Israel no mentirá, ni se arrepentirá: porque no es hombre para que se arrepienta.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.”

Et il dit : J'ai péché ! Maintenant, honore-moi, je te prie, en présence des Anciens de mon peuple et en présence d'Israël, et reviens avec moi, et je me prosternerai devant l'Eternel ton Dieu !

Y él dijo: Yo he pecado: mas ruégote que me honres delante de los ancianos de mi pueblo, y delante de Israel; y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová tu Dios.

Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.

Then he said, “I have sinned; yet please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and come back with me, that I may worship the LORD your God.”

Et Samuel s'en retourna à la suite de Saül et Saül se prosterna devant l'Eternel.

Y volvió Samuel tras Saúl, y adoró Saúl á Jehová.

So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the LORD.

So Samuel went back with Saul; and Saul worshiped the LORD.

Et Samuel dit : Amenez-moi Agag, roi d'Amalek ! Et Agag vint à lui gaiement ; et Agag disait : Certainement, l'amertume de la mort est passée.

Después dijo Samuel: Traedme á Agag rey de Amalec. Y Agag vino á él delicadamente. Y dijo Agag: Ciertamente se pasó la amargura de la muerte.

Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag the king of the Amalekites here to me!” Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”

Et Samuel dit : De même que ton épée a privé, des femmes de leurs enfants, de même ta mère sera privée de son fils entre les femmes. Et Samuel mit Agag en pièces devant l'Eternel à Guilgal.

Y Samuel dijo: Como tu espada dejó las mujeres sin hijos, así tu madre será sin hijo entre las mujeres. Entonces Samuel cortó en pedazos á Agag delante de Jehová en Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Et Samuel alla à Rama, et Saül monta dans sa maison à Guibéa de Saül.

Fuése luego Samuel á Rama, y Saúl subió á su casa en Gabaa de Saúl.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

Et Samuel ne revit plus Saül jusqu'au jour de sa mort ; parce que Samuel menait deuil sur Saül. Et l'Eternel se repentait d'avoir fait Saül roi sur Israël.

Y nunca después vió Samuel á Saúl en toda su vida: y Samuel lloraba á Saúl: mas Jehová se había arrepentido de haber puesto á Saúl por rey sobre Israel.

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death, but Samuel mourned for Saul. The LORD grieved that he had made Saul king over Israel.
