1 Samuel 15

Samuel aber sprach zu Saul: Der HERR hat mich gesandt, dich zum König über Israel zu salben; so höre nun die Stimme der Worte des HERRN.

Y SAMUEL dijo á Saúl: Jehová me envió á que te ungiese por rey sobre su pueblo Israel: oye pues la voz de las palabras de Jehová.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to anoint you to be king over his people, over Israel. Now therefore listen to the voice of the LORD’s words.

So spricht der HERR der Heerscharen: Ich will strafen, was Amalek an Israel tat, indem er sich ihm in den Weg stellte, als es aus Ägypten zog.

Así ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos: Acuérdome de lo que hizo Amalec á Israel; que se le opuso en el camino, cuando subía de Egipto.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

The LORD of Armies says, ‘I remember what Amalek did to Israel, how he set himself against him on the way when he came up out of Egypt.

So ziehe nun hin und schlage Amalek und vollstrecke den Bann an ihm samt allem, was er hat, und schone seiner nicht; sondern töte Männer und Weiber, Kinder und Säuglinge, Ochsen und Schafe, Kamele und Esel!

Ve pues, y hiere á Amalec, y destruiréis en él todo lo que tuviere: y no te apiades de él: mata hombres y mujeres, niños y mamantes, vacas y ovejas, camellos y asnos.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Now go and strike Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and don’t spare them; but kill both man and woman, infant and nursing baby, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Da hob Saul das Volk aus und musterte es zu Telaim, bei zweihunderttausend Mann Fußvolk und zehntausend Mann aus Juda.

Saúl pues juntó el pueblo, y reconociólos en Telaim, doscientos mil de á pie, y diez mil hombres de Judá.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

Saul summoned the people, and counted them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen and ten thousand men of Judah.

Und Saul kam zu der Stadt der Amalekiter und legte einen Hinterhalt im Tal.

Y viniendo Saúl á la ciudad de Amalec, puso emboscada en el valle.

And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

Saul came to the city of Amalek, and set an ambush in the valley.

Und Saul ließ den Kenitern sagen: Gehet hin, weichet, ziehet herab von den Amalekitern, damit ich euch nicht mit ihnen aufreibe; denn ihr erwieset Barmherzigkeit an den Kindern Israel, als sie aus Ägypten zogen! Also wichen die Keniter von den Amalekitern.

Y dijo Saúl al Cineo: Idos, apartaos, y salid de entre los de Amalec, para que no te destruya juntamente con él: pues que tú hiciste misericordia con todos los hijos de Israel, cuando subían de Egipto. Apartóse pues el Cineo de entre los de Amalec.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them; for you showed kindness to all the children of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Da schlug Saul die Amalekiter, von Hevila an bis gen Schur, das östlich von Ägypten liegt,

Y Saúl hirió á Amalec, desde Havila hasta llegar á Shur, que está á la frontera de Egipto.

And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

Saul struck the Amalekites, from Havilah as you go to Shur, which is before Egypt.

und fing Agag, den König der Amalekiter, lebendig; dagegen vollstreckte er den Bann an allem Volk mit der Schärfe des Schwertes.

Y tomó vivo á Agag rey de Amalec, mas á todo el pueblo mató á filo de espada.

And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

Aber Saul und das Volk verschonten Agag und die besten Schafe und Rinder und das Vieh zweiter Güte und die Lämmer und alles, was gut war, und wollten den Bann an ihnen nicht vollstrecken; was aber abschätzig und untüchtig war, das bannten sie.

Y Saúl y el pueblo perdonaron á Agag, y á lo mejor de las ovejas, y al ganado mayor, á los gruesos y á los carneros, y á todo lo bueno: que no lo quisieron destruir: mas todo lo que era vil y flaco destruyeron.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Da erging das Wort des HERRN an Samuel und sprach:

Y fué palabra de Jehová á Samuel, diciendo:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

Then the LORD’s word came to Samuel, saying,

Es reut mich, daß ich Saul zum König gemacht habe; denn er hat sich von mir abgewandt und meine Worte nicht erfüllt! Darob entbrannte Samuel, und er schrie zum HERRN die ganze Nacht.

Pésame de haber puesto por rey á Saúl, porque se ha vuelto de en pos de mí, y no ha cumplido mis palabras. Y apesadumbróse Samuel, y clamó á Jehová toda aquella noche.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

“It grieves me that I have set up Saul to be king, for he has turned back from following me, and has not performed my commandments.” Samuel was angry; and he cried to the LORD all night.

Und Samuel machte sich früh auf, um Saul am Morgen zu begegnen. Und es ward dem Samuel angezeigt: Saul ist nach Karmel gekommen und siehe, er hat sich ein Denkmal aufgerichtet; darnach hat er eine Schwenkung gemacht, ist hinübergezogen und nach Gilgal hinabgestiegen.

Madrugó luego Samuel para ir á encontrar á Saúl por la mañana; y fué dado aviso á Samuel, diciendo: Saúl ha venido al Carmel, y he aquí él se ha levantado un trofeo, y después volviendo, ha pasado y descendido á Gilgal.

And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.

Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning; and Samuel was told, saying, “Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a monument for himself, turned, passed on, and went down to Gilgal.”

Als nun Samuel zu Saul kam, sprach Saul zu ihm: Gesegnet seist du vom HERRN, ich habe des HERRN Wort erfüllt!

Vino pues Samuel á Saúl, y Saúl le dijo: Bendito seas tú de Jehová; yo he cumplido la palabra de Jehová.

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

Samuel came to Saul; and Saul said to him, “You are blessed by the LORD! I have performed the commandment of the LORD.”

Samuel antwortete: Was ist denn das für ein Blöken der Schafe in meinen Ohren und ein Brüllen der Rinder, das ich höre?

Samuel entonces dijo: ¿Pues qué balido de ganados y bramido de bueyes es este que yo oigo con mis oídos?

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Samuel said, “Then what does this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the cattle which I hear mean?”

Saul sprach: Sie haben sie von den Amalekitern hergebracht; denn das Volk verschonte die besten Schafe und Rinder, um sie dem HERRN, deinem Gott, zu opfern; das Übrige haben wir gebannt!

Y Saúl respondió: De Amalec los han traído; porque el pueblo perdonó á lo mejor de las ovejas y de las vacas, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios; pero lo demás lo destruimos.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the cattle, to sacrifice to the LORD your God. We have utterly destroyed the rest.”

Samuel aber antwortete dem Saul: Laß dir sagen, was der HERR diese Nacht zu mir geredet hat! Er sprach zu ihm: Sage her!

Entonces dijo Samuel á Saúl: Déjame declararte lo que Jehová me ha dicho esta noche. Y él le respondió: Di.

Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stay, and I will tell you what the LORD said to me last night.” He said to him, “Say on.”

Samuel sprach: Ist es nicht also, als du klein warest in deinen Augen, wurdest du das Haupt der Stämme Israels, und der HERR salbte dich zum König über Israel?

Y dijo Samuel: Siendo tú pequeño en tus ojos ¿no has sido hecho cabeza á las tribus de Israel, y Jehová te ha ungido por rey sobre Israel?

And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

Samuel said, “Though you were little in your own sight, weren’t you made the head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king over Israel;

Und der HERR sandte dich auf den Weg und sprach: Zieh hin und vollstrecke den Bann an den Sündern, den Amalekitern, und streite wider sie, bis sie ausgerottet sind!

Y envióte Jehová en jornada, y dijo: Ve, y destruye los pecadores de Amalec, y hazles guerra hasta que los acabes.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

and the LORD sent you on a journey, and said, ‘Go, and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’

Warum hast du denn der Stimme des HERRN nicht gehorcht, sondern dich auf die Beute gestürzt und übel gehandelt vor den Augen des HERRN?

¿Por qué pues no has oído la voz de Jehová, sino que vuelto al despojo, has hecho lo malo en los ojos de Jehová?

Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

Why then didn’t you obey the LORD’s voice, but took the plunder, and did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight?”

Saul antwortete dem Samuel: Ich habe doch der Stimme des HERRN gehorcht und bin den Weg gezogen, den mich der HERR sandte, und habe Agag, den König der Amalekiter, hergebracht und an den Amalekitern den Bann vollstreckt!

Y Saúl respondió á Samuel: Antes he oído la voz de Jehová, y fuí á la jornada que Jehová me envió, y he traído á Agag rey de Amalec, y he destruído á los Amalecitas:

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the LORD’s voice, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Aber das Volk hat von der Beute genommen, Schafe und Rinder, das Beste des Gebannten, um es dem HERRN, deinem Gott, zu opfern in Gilgal!

Mas el pueblo tomó del despojo ovejas y vacas, las primicias del anatema, para sacrificarlas á Jehová tu Dios en Gilgal.

But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

But the people took of the plunder, sheep and cattle, the best of the devoted things, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”

Samuel aber sprach: Hat der HERR Wohlgefallen an Opfern und Brandopfern gleichwie am Gehorsam gegen die Stimme des HERRN? Siehe, Gehorsam ist besser denn Opfer und Aufmerken besser als das Fett von Widdern!

Y Samuel dijo: ¿Tiene Jehová tanto contentamiento con los holocaustos y víctimas, como en obedecer á las palabras de Jehová? Ciertamente el obedecer es mejor que los sacrificios; y el prestar atención que el sebo de los carneros:

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the LORD’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

Denn Ungehorsam ist Zaubereisünde, und Widerspenstigkeit ist Frevel und Abgötterei. Weil du nun des HERRN Wort verworfen hast, so hat auch er dich verworfen, daß du nicht König sein sollst!

Porque como pecado de adivinación es la rebelión, y como ídolos é idolatría el infringir. Por cuanto tú desechaste la palabra de Jehová, él también te ha desechado para que no seas rey.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim. Because you have rejected the LORD’s word, he has also rejected you from being king.”

Da sprach Saul zu Samuel: Ich habe gesündigt, daß ich den Befehl des HERRN und deine Worte übertreten habe; denn ich fürchtete das Volk und gehorchte seiner Stimme!

Entonces Saúl dijo á Samuel: Yo he pecado; que he quebrantado el dicho de Jehová y tus palabras: porque temí al pueblo, consentí á la voz de ellos. Perdona pues ahora mi pecado,

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

Nun aber vergib mir doch meine Sünde und kehre mit mir um, daß ich den HERRN anbete!

Y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová.

Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.”

Samuel sprach zu Saul: Ich will nicht mit dir umkehren; denn du hast das Wort des HERRN verworfen, darum hat der HERR auch dich verworfen, daß du nicht mehr König seiest über Israel!

Y Samuel respondió á Saúl: No volveré contigo; porque desechaste la palabra de Jehová, y Jehová te ha desechado para que no seas rey sobre Israel.

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected the LORD’s word, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

Und Samuel wandte sich und wollte gehen, aber Saul ergriff ihn beim Zipfel seines Rockes, daß derselbe zerriß.

Y volviéndose Samuel para irse, él echó mano de la orla de su capa, y desgarróse.

And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.

As Samuel turned around to go away, Saul grabbed the skirt of his robe, and it tore.

Da sprach Samuel zu ihm: Der HERR hat heute das Königreich Israel von dir gerissen und es deinem Nächsten gegeben, der besser ist als du!

Entonces Samuel le dijo: Jehová ha desgarrado hoy de ti el reino de Israel, y lo ha dado á tu prójimo mejor que tú.

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.

Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours who is better than you.

Und zwar lügt der Vorsteher Israels nicht, er ändert auch nicht seinen Sinn; denn er ist kein Mensch, daß es ihn reuen müßte!

Y también el Vencedor de Israel no mentirá, ni se arrepentirá: porque no es hombre para que se arrepienta.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.”

Er aber sprach: Ich habe jetzt gesündigt; aber ehre mich doch vor den Ältesten meines Volkes und vor Israel und kehre mit mir um, daß ich den HERRN, deinen Gott, anbete!

Y él dijo: Yo he pecado: mas ruégote que me honres delante de los ancianos de mi pueblo, y delante de Israel; y vuelve conmigo para que adore á Jehová tu Dios.

Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.

Then he said, “I have sinned; yet please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and come back with me, that I may worship the LORD your God.”

Da kehrte Samuel um, Saul nach, und Saul betete den HERRN an.

Y volvió Samuel tras Saúl, y adoró Saúl á Jehová.

So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the LORD.

So Samuel went back with Saul; and Saul worshiped the LORD.

Samuel aber sprach: Bringet Agag, den König der Amalekiter, zu mir her! Und Agag kam gefesselt zu ihm. Und Agag sprach: Fürwahr, widerwärtig ist des Todes Bitterkeit!

Después dijo Samuel: Traedme á Agag rey de Amalec. Y Agag vino á él delicadamente. Y dijo Agag: Ciertamente se pasó la amargura de la muerte.

Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag the king of the Amalekites here to me!” Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”

Samuel sprach: Wie dein Schwert Frauen ihrer Kinder beraubt hat, also soll auch deine Mutter vor allen Frauen ihrer Kinder beraubt werden! Und Samuel hieb Agag in Stücke vor dem HERRN zu Gilgal.

Y Samuel dijo: Como tu espada dejó las mujeres sin hijos, así tu madre será sin hijo entre las mujeres. Entonces Samuel cortó en pedazos á Agag delante de Jehová en Gilgal.

And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Und Samuel ging nach Rama; Saul aber zog in sein Haus hinauf, nach dem Gibea Sauls.

Fuése luego Samuel á Rama, y Saúl subió á su casa en Gabaa de Saúl.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

Und Samuel sah Saul nicht mehr bis an den Tag seines Todes; denn Samuel trug Leid um Saul; den HERRN aber reute es, daß er Saul zum König über Israel gemacht hatte.

Y nunca después vió Samuel á Saúl en toda su vida: y Samuel lloraba á Saúl: mas Jehová se había arrepentido de haber puesto á Saúl por rey sobre Israel.

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death, but Samuel mourned for Saul. The LORD grieved that he had made Saul king over Israel.
