E sempre que o espírito maligno enviado da parte de Deus perturbava Saul, Davi tocava a harpa, e Saul se sentia melhor, e o espírito maligno se retirava.

Y cuando el espíritu malo de parte de Dios era sobre Saúl, David tomaba el arpa, y tañía con su mano; y Saúl tenía refrigerio, y estaba mejor, y el espíritu malo se apartaba de él.

And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
