7Et l’Éternel dit à Samuel: Ne prends point garde à son apparence et à la hauteur de sa taille, car je l’ai rejeté. L’Éternel ne considère pas ce que l’homme considère; l’homme regarde à ce qui frappe les yeux, mais l’Éternel regarde au cœur.

7But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
