1 Samuel 19

Saül chercha à frapper de sa lance David et le mur ; mais David s'enfuit de devant Saül, qui frappa la lance contre le mur. David prit la fuite et s'échappa pendant la nuit.

Y Saúl procuró enclavar á David con la lanza en la pared; mas él se apartó de delante de Saúl, el cual hirió con la lanza en la pared; y David huyó, y escapóse aquella noche.

And Saul sought to smite David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin into the wall: and David fled, and escaped that night.

Saul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence; and he stuck the spear into the wall. David fled and escaped that night.
