1 Samuel 19

Et Saül écouta la voix de Jonathan, et Saül jura, en disant : L'Eternel est vivant ! il ne mourra pas.

Y oyendo Saúl la voz de Jonathán, juró: Vive Jehová, que no morirá.

And Saul hearkened unto the voice of Jonathan: and Saul sware, As the LORD liveth, he shall not be slain.

Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan; and Saul swore, “As the LORD lives, he shall not be put to death.”
