23Y su marido Elcana le dijo: Haz lo que te parezca bien, pero no hasta que dejes de amamantarlo; Sólo el Señor puede hacer lo que él ha dicho. Así que la mujer, esperando allí, le dio leche a su hijo hasta que tuvo la edad suficiente y dejó de amamantarlo.

23Y Elcana su marido le respondió: Haz lo que bien te pareciere; quédate hasta que lo destetes: solamente Jehová cumpla su palabra. Y quedóse la mujer, y crió su hijo hasta que lo destetó.

23And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
World English Bible
23Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.
