Le dijo, pues, Elcana, su marido: Ana, ¿por qué lloras? ¿cómo es que no comes?, ¿y por qué se aflige así tu corazón? ¿acaso no soy yo para ti mejor que diez hijos que tuvieses?

Y Elcana su marido le dijo: Anna, ¿por qué lloras? ¿y por qué no comes? ¿y por qué está afligido tu corazón? ¿No te soy yo mejor que diez hijos?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”
