1 Samuel 1

Il y avait dans les montagnes d'Ephraïm un homme d'Armathaïm-Sipha ; il se nommait Elcana, fils de Jéréméel, fils d'Eliu, fils de Thocé, l'un des Nasib d'Ephraïm.

HUBO un varón de Ramathaim de Sophim, del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliú, hijo de Thohu, hijo de Suph, Ephrateo.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

Il avait deux femmes : le nom de la première était Anne ; le nom de la seconde, Phenenna ; or, Phenenna avait des enfants, et Anne n'en avait point.

Y tenía él dos mujeres; el nombre de la una era Anna, y el nombre de la otra Peninna. Y Peninna tenía hijos, mas Anna no los tenía.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

He had two wives. The name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Les jours s'écoulèrent, et l'homme partit de la ville d'Armathaïm pour adorer le Seigneur Dieu sabaoth, et lui sacrifier en Silo ; Héli et ses deux fils Ophni et Phinéès étaient alors prêtres du Seigneur.

Y subía aquel varón todos los años de su ciudad, á adorar y sacrificar á Jehová de los ejércitos en Silo, donde estaban dos hijos de Eli, Ophni y Phinees, sacerdotes de Jehová.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of Armies in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to the LORD, were there.

Le jour venu, Elcana sacrifia ; puis, il donna des parts à Phenenna, sa femme, et à ses fils.

Y cuando venía el día, Elcana sacrificaba, y daba á Peninna su mujer, y á todos sus hijos y á todas sus hijas, á cada uno su parte.

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

Mais il ne donna qu'une part à Anne, parce qu'elle n'avait pas d'enfants. Cependant, Elcana aimait Anne plus que la première ; et le Seigneur avait clos ses entrailles ;

Mas á Anna daba una parte escogida; porque amaba á Anna, aunque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

but he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved Hannah, but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Car le Seigneur, quels que fussent son affliction et l'abattement causé par son affliction, ne lui avait point donné d'enfants. Elle était découragée, parce que le Seigneur avait clos ses entrailles, et ne lui avait point donné d'enfants.

Y su competidora la irritaba, enojándola y entristeciéndola, porque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Her rival provoked her severely, to irritate her, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Les choses se passaient de la sorte tous les ans lorsqu'elle montait à la maison du Seigneur ; elle était abattue, et elle pleurait, et elle ne mangeait point.

Y así hacía cada año: cuando subía á la casa de Jehová, enojaba así á la otra; por lo cual ella lloraba, y no comía.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

So year by year, when she went up to the LORD’s house, her rival provoked her. Therefore she wept, and didn’t eat.

Et son époux Elcana lui dit : Anne ; et elle répondit : Me voici, seigneur ; et il reprit : Qu'as-tu à pleurer ? Pourquoi ne manges-tu point ? Pourquoi ton cœur te fait-il souffrir ? Ne suis-je pas pour toi meilleur que dix enfants ?

Y Elcana su marido le dijo: Anna, ¿por qué lloras? ¿y por qué no comes? ¿y por qué está afligido tu corazón? ¿No te soy yo mejor que diez hijos?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

Et, après qu'ils eurent mangé à Silo, Anne se leva, puis elle alla se placer devant le Seigneur, pendant qu'Héli le prêtre était sur son siège, devant le seuil du temple du Seigneur.

Y levantóse Anna después que hubo comido y bebido en Silo; y mientras el sacerdote Eli estaba sentado en una silla junto á un pilar del templo de Jehová,

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.

Là, tout affligée en son cœur, elle fit au Seigneur une prière, et elle se prit à pleurer amèrement.

Ella con amargura de alma oró á Jehová, y lloró abundantemente.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly.

Et elle fit un vœu au Seigneur, disant : Adonaï, Seigneur, Eloé sabaoth, si vous jetez les yeux sur l'humiliation de votre servante, si vous vous souvenez de moi, si vous donnez à votre servante un fils, je vous le consacrerai jusqu'au jour de sa mort ; il ne boira ni vin ni boisson enivrante, et le fer ne passera jamais sur sa tête.

E hizo voto, diciendo: Jehová de los ejércitos, si te dignares mirar la aflicción de tu sierva, y te acordares de mí, y no te olvidares de tu sierva, mas dieres á tu sierva un hijo varón, yo lo dedicaré á Jehová todos los días de su vida, y no subirá navaja sobre su cabeza.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

She vowed a vow, and said, “LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”

Et pendant qu'elle prolongeait sa prière devant le Seigneur, Héli le prêtre était attentif au mouvement de ses lèvres,

Y fué que como ella orase largamente delante de Jehová, Eli estaba observando la boca de ella.

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

As she continued praying before the LORD, Eli saw her mouth.

Car elle parlait en son cœur, et elle remuait les lèvres, mais on n'entendait point sa voix ; or, Héli la crut ivre.

Mas Anna hablaba en su corazón, y solamente se movían sus labios, y su voz no se oía; y túvola Eli por borracha.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Et le serviteur d'Héli alla lui dire : Jusqu'à quand seras-tu donc ivre ? Va-t'en avec ton vin ; retire-toi de devant le Seigneur.

Entonces le dijo Eli: ¿Hasta cuándo estarás borracha?; digiere tu vino.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Anne répondit, et elle dit au prêtre : Non, seigneur, je suis aujourd'hui une femme pleine d'affliction, je n'ai bu ni vin ni boisson enivrante, et je répands mon âme devant le Seigneur.

Y Anna le respondió, diciendo: No, señor mío: mas yo soy una mujer trabajada de espíritu: no he bebido vino ni sidra, sino que he derramado mi alma delante de Jehová.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or strong drink, but I poured out my soul before the LORD.

Ne prends pas ta servante pour une fille de pestilence ; c'est à cause de l'abondance de mes méditations que j'ai prolongé jusqu'à ce moment ma prière.

No tengas á tu sierva por una mujer impía: porque por la magnitud de mis congojas y de mi aflicción he hablado hasta ahora.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Don’t consider your servant a wicked woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation.”

Héli reprenant, lui dit : Va en paix, que le Dieu d'Israël t'accorde toute ta prière, tout ce que tu lui as demandé.

Y Eli respondió, y dijo: Ve en paz, y el Dios de Israel te otorgue la petición que le has hecho.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

Alors, elle dit : Ta servante a trouvé grâce devant tes yeux. Et la femme s'en alla, elle rentra à son logis, elle mangea et but avec son mari, et son visage cessa d'être abattu.

Y ella dijo: Halle tu sierva gracia delante de tus ojos. Y fuése la mujer su camino, y comió, y no estuvo más triste.

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

She said, “Let your servant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate; and her facial expression wasn’t sad any more.

Ensuite, s'étant levés de grand matin, ils adorèrent le Seigneur, et reprirent leur chemin ; Elcana rentra dans sa maison d'Armathaïm, et il connut Anne ; or, le Seigneur se souvint d'elle, et elle conçut.

Y levantándose de mañana, adoraron delante de Jehová, y volviéronse, y vinieron á su casa en Ramatha. Y Elcana conoció á Anna su mujer, y Jehová se acordó de ella.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

Le temps révolu, elle enfanta un fils, et elle l'appela Samuel, parce que, dit-elle, je l'avais demandé au Seigneur Dieu sabaoth.

Y fué que corrido el tiempo, después de haber concebido Anna, parió un hijo, y púsole por nombre Samuel, diciendo: Por cuanto lo demandé á Jehová.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”

Or, son époux Elcana, avec toute sa famille, monta à Silo pour offrir au Seigneur le sacrifice de la saison, ses oblations votives, et la dîme de tous les fruits de ses champs.

Después subió el varón Elcana, con toda su familia, á sacrificar á Jehová el sacrificio acostumbrado, y su voto.

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

Mais Anne ne partit pas avec lui, et elle dit à son époux : J'irai quand l'enfant ira, quand je l'aurai sevré, et qu'il sera présenté au Seigneur pour y rester toujours.

Mas Anna no subió, sino dijo á su marido: Yo no subiré hasta que el niño sea destetado; para que lo lleve y sea presentado delante de Jehová, y se quede allá para siempre.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and stay there forever.”

Son époux Elcana lui répondit : Fais ce que bon te semble, demeure ici jusqu'à ce que tu l'aies sevré ; que le Seigneur accomplisse toutes les paroles qui sont sorties de ta bouche. Et la femme ne bougea pas, et elle allaita son fils jusqu'à ce qu'elle le sevrât.

Y Elcana su marido le respondió: Haz lo que bien te pareciere; quédate hasta que lo destetes: solamente Jehová cumpla su palabra. Y quedóse la mujer, y crió su hijo hasta que lo destetó.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Alors, elle partit avec Elcana pour Silo ; ils avaient un bœuf de trois ans, des pains, un éphi de fleur de farine et un nébel de vin ; elle entra à Silo dans la maison du Seigneur, et son enfant était avec eux.

Y después que lo hubo destetado, llevólo consigo, con tres becerros, y un epha de harina, y una vasija de vino, y trájolo á la casa de Jehová en Silo: y el niño era pequeño.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

When she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, and one ephah of meal, and a container of wine, and brought him to the LORD’s house in Shiloh. The child was young.

Et ils le conduisirent devant le Seigneur ; son père égorgea la victime que de saison en saison il sacrifiait au Seigneur ; il présenta l'enfant après avoir égorgé le bœuf ; et Anne, la mère de l'enfant, le conduisit à Héli,

Y matando el becerro, trajeron el niño á Eli.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

They killed the bull, and brought the child to Eli.

Et elle dit : Je te prie, seigneur, aussi vrai que tu vis, je suis la femme que tu as vue assise devant toi, priant le Seigneur.

Y ella dijo: ¡Oh, señor mío! vive tu alma, señor mío, yo soy aquella mujer que estuvo aquí junto á ti orando á Jehová.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.

J'ai prié pour obtenir cet enfant, et le Seigneur a exaucé la prière que je lui avais faite.

Por este niño oraba, y Jehová me dió lo que le pedí.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

Cet enfant, je le donne au Seigneur pour être tous les jours de sa vie au service du Seigneur ; puis, elle dit :

Yo pues le vuelvo también á Jehová: todos los días que viviere, será de Jehová. Y adoró allí á Jehová.

Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

Therefore I have also given him to the LORD. As long as he lives he is given to the LORD.” He worshiped the LORD there.
