1 Samuel 1

Und er hatte zwei Weiber; eine hieß Hanna, die andere Peninna. Peninna aber hatte Kinder, und Hanna hatte keine Kinder.

HUBO un varón de Ramathaim de Sophim, del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliú, hijo de Thohu, hijo de Suph, Ephrateo.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

Und derselbe Mann ging hinauf von seiner Stadt zu seiner Zeit, daß er anbetete und opferte dem HERRN Zebaoth zu Silo. Daselbst waren aber Priester des HERRN Hophni und Pinehas, die zween Söhne Elis.

Y tenía él dos mujeres; el nombre de la una era Anna, y el nombre de la otra Peninna. Y Peninna tenía hijos, mas Anna no los tenía.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

He had two wives. The name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Da es nun eines Tages kam, daß Elkana opferte, gab er seinem Weibe Peninna und allen ihren Söhnen und Töchtern Stücke.

Y subía aquel varón todos los años de su ciudad, á adorar y sacrificar á Jehová de los ejércitos en Silo, donde estaban dos hijos de Eli, Ophni y Phinees, sacerdotes de Jehová.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of Armies in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to the LORD, were there.

Aber Hanna gab er ein Stück traurig; denn er hatte Hanna lieb; aber der HERR hatte ihren Leib verschlossen.

Y cuando venía el día, Elcana sacrificaba, y daba á Peninna su mujer, y á todos sus hijos y á todas sus hijas, á cada uno su parte.

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

When the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he gave portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters;

Und ihre Widerwärtige betrübte sie und trotzte ihr sehr, daß der HERR ihren Leib verschlossen hätte.

Mas á Anna daba una parte escogida; porque amaba á Anna, aunque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

but he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved Hannah, but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Also ging es alle Jahre, wenn sie hinaufzog zu des HERRN Haus, und betrübte sie also; so weinete sie dann und aß nichts.

Y su competidora la irritaba, enojándola y entristeciéndola, porque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Her rival provoked her severely, to irritate her, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Elkana aber, ihr Mann, sprach zu ihr: Hanna, warum weinest du, und warum issest du nichts, und warum gehabt sich dein Herz so übel? Bin ich dir nicht besser denn zehn Söhne?

Y así hacía cada año: cuando subía á la casa de Jehová, enojaba así á la otra; por lo cual ella lloraba, y no comía.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

So year by year, when she went up to the LORD’s house, her rival provoked her. Therefore she wept, and didn’t eat.

Da stund Hanna auf, nachdem sie gegessen hatte zu Silo und getrunken. (Eli aber, der Priester, saß auf einem Stuhl an der Pfoste des Tempels des HERRN.)

Y Elcana su marido le dijo: Anna, ¿por qué lloras? ¿y por qué no comes? ¿y por qué está afligido tu corazón? ¿No te soy yo mejor que diez hijos?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

Und sie war von Herzen betrübt und betete zum HERRN und weinete.

Y levantóse Anna después que hubo comido y bebido en Silo; y mientras el sacerdote Eli estaba sentado en una silla junto á un pilar del templo de Jehová,

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.

Und gelobte ein Gelübde und sprach: HERR Zebaoth, wirst du deiner Magd Elend ansehen und an mich gedenken und deiner Magd nicht vergessen und wirst deiner Magd einen Sohn geben, so will ich ihn dem HERRN geben sein Leben lang, und soll kein Schermesser auf sein Haupt kommen.

Ella con amargura de alma oró á Jehová, y lloró abundantemente.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

Und da sie lange betete vor dem HERRN, hatte Eli acht auf ihren Mund.

E hizo voto, diciendo: Jehová de los ejércitos, si te dignares mirar la aflicción de tu sierva, y te acordares de mí, y no te olvidares de tu sierva, mas dieres á tu sierva un hijo varón, yo lo dedicaré á Jehová todos los días de su vida, y no subirá navaja sobre su cabeza.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

She vowed a vow, and said, “LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”

Denn Hanna redete in ihrem Herzen; allein ihre Lippen regten sich, und ihre Stimme hörete man nicht. Da meinte Eli, sie wäre trunken,

Y fué que como ella orase largamente delante de Jehová, Eli estaba observando la boca de ella.

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

As she continued praying before the LORD, Eli saw her mouth.

und sprach zu ihr: Wie lange willst du trunken sein? Laß den Wein von dir kommen, den du bei dir hast!

Mas Anna hablaba en su corazón, y solamente se movían sus labios, y su voz no se oía; y túvola Eli por borracha.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Hanna aber antwortete und sprach: Nein, mein HERR, ich bin ein betrübt Weib. Wein und stark Getränke hab ich nicht getrunken, sondern habe mein Herz vor dem HERRN ausgeschüttet.

Entonces le dijo Eli: ¿Hasta cuándo estarás borracha?; digiere tu vino.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Du wollest deine Magd nicht achten wie ein loses Weib; denn ich habe aus meinem großen Kummer und Traurigkeit geredet bisher.

Y Anna le respondió, diciendo: No, señor mío: mas yo soy una mujer trabajada de espíritu: no he bebido vino ni sidra, sino que he derramado mi alma delante de Jehová.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or strong drink, but I poured out my soul before the LORD.

Eli antwortete und sprach: Gehe hin mit Frieden! Der Gott Israels wird dir geben deine Bitte, die du von ihm gebeten hast.

No tengas á tu sierva por una mujer impía: porque por la magnitud de mis congojas y de mi aflicción he hablado hasta ahora.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Don’t consider your servant a wicked woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation.”

Sie sprach: Laß deine Magd Gnade finden vor deinen Augen. Also ging das Weib hin ihres Weges und aß und sah nicht mehr so traurig.

Y Eli respondió, y dijo: Ve en paz, y el Dios de Israel te otorgue la petición que le has hecho.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

Und des Morgens frühe machten sie sich auf, und da sie angebetet hatten vor dem HERRN, kehreten sie wieder um und kamen heim gen Ramath. Und Elkana erkannte sein Weib Hanna; und der HERR gedachte an sie.

Y ella dijo: Halle tu sierva gracia delante de tus ojos. Y fuése la mujer su camino, y comió, y no estuvo más triste.

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

She said, “Let your servant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate; and her facial expression wasn’t sad any more.

Und da etliche Tage um waren, ward sie schwanger und gebar einen Sohn und hieß ihn Samuel; denn ich habe ihn von dem HERRN gebeten.

Y levantándose de mañana, adoraron delante de Jehová, y volviéronse, y vinieron á su casa en Ramatha. Y Elcana conoció á Anna su mujer, y Jehová se acordó de ella.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

They rose up in the morning early and worshiped the LORD, then returned and came to their house to Ramah. Then Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

Und da der Mann Elkana hinaufzog mit seinem ganzen Hause, daß er dem HERRN opferte das Opfer zur Zeit gewöhnlich, und sein Gelübde,

Y fué que corrido el tiempo, después de haber concebido Anna, parió un hijo, y púsole por nombre Samuel, diciendo: Por cuanto lo demandé á Jehová.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”

zog Hanna nicht mit hinauf, sondern sprach zu ihrem Manne: Bis der Knabe entwöhnet werde, so will ich ihn bringen, daß er vor dem HERRN erscheine und bleibe daselbst ewiglich.

Después subió el varón Elcana, con toda su familia, á sacrificar á Jehová el sacrificio acostumbrado, y su voto.

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

Elkana, ihr Mann, sprach zu ihr: So tue, wie dir's gefällt; bleibe, bis du ihn entwöhnest; der HERR bestätige aber, was er geredet hat! Also blieb das Weib und säugete ihren Sohn, bis daß sie ihn entwöhnete.

Mas Anna no subió, sino dijo á su marido: Yo no subiré hasta que el niño sea destetado; para que lo lleve y sea presentado delante de Jehová, y se quede allá para siempre.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and stay there forever.”

Und brachte ihn mit ihr hinauf, nachdem sie ihn entwöhnet hatte, mit drei Farren, mit einem Epha Mehl und einer Flasche Weins; und brachte ihn in das Haus des HERRN zu Silo. Der Knabe aber war noch jung.

Y Elcana su marido le respondió: Haz lo que bien te pareciere; quédate hasta que lo destetes: solamente Jehová cumpla su palabra. Y quedóse la mujer, y crió su hijo hasta que lo destetó.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Und sie schlachteten einen Farren und brachten den Knaben zu Eli.

Y después que lo hubo destetado, llevólo consigo, con tres becerros, y un epha de harina, y una vasija de vino, y trájolo á la casa de Jehová en Silo: y el niño era pequeño.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

When she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, and one ephah of meal, and a container of wine, and brought him to the LORD’s house in Shiloh. The child was young.

Und sie sprach: Ach, mein HERR, so wahr deine Seele lebet, mein HERR, ich bin das Weib, das hie bei dir stund und bat den HERRN,

Y matando el becerro, trajeron el niño á Eli.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

They killed the bull, and brought the child to Eli.

da ich um diesen Knaben bat. Nun hat der HERR meine Bitte gegeben, die ich von ihm bat.

Y ella dijo: ¡Oh, señor mío! vive tu alma, señor mío, yo soy aquella mujer que estuvo aquí junto á ti orando á Jehová.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.

Darum gebe ich ihn dem HERRN wieder sein Leben lang, weil er vom HERRN erbeten ist. Und sie beteten daselbst den HERRN an.

Por este niño oraba, y Jehová me dió lo que le pedí.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

Und Hanna betete und sprach: Mein Herz ist fröhlich in dem HERRN, mein Horn ist erhöhet in dem HERRN. Mein Mund hat sich weit aufgetan über meine Feinde; denn ich freue mich deines Heils.

Yo pues le vuelvo también á Jehová: todos los días que viviere, será de Jehová. Y adoró allí á Jehová.

Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

Therefore I have also given him to the LORD. As long as he lives he is given to the LORD.” He worshiped the LORD there.
