1 Samuel 1

Es war einst ein Mann aus (den Bürgern von) Ramath, ein Zuphit vom Gebirge Ephraim, mit Namen Elkana, ein Sohn Jerohams, des Sohnes Elihus, des Sohnes Thohus, des Sohnes Zuphs, ein Ephrathiter.

HUBO un varón de Ramathaim de Sophim, del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliú, hijo de Thohu, hijo de Suph, Ephrateo.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

Der hatte zwei Frauen: die eine hieß Hanna, die andere Peninna; und Peninna hatte Kinder, Hanna aber war kinderlos.

Y tenía él dos mujeres; el nombre de la una era Anna, y el nombre de la otra Peninna. Y Peninna tenía hijos, mas Anna no los tenía.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Dieser Mann zog Jahr für Jahr aus seinem Wohnort nach Silo hinauf, um Gott, den HERRN der Heerscharen, dort anzubeten und ihm zu opfern; dort waren die beiden Söhne Elis, Hophni und Pinehas, Priester des HERRN.

Y subía aquel varón todos los años de su ciudad, á adorar y sacrificar á Jehová de los ejércitos en Silo, donde estaban dos hijos de Eli, Ophni y Phinees, sacerdotes de Jehová.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of Armies in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to the LORD, were there.

Sooft nun der Tag da war, an welchem Elkana opferte, gab er seiner Frau Peninna und all ihren Söhnen und Töchtern Anteile;

Y cuando venía el día, Elcana sacrificaba, y daba á Peninna su mujer, y á todos sus hijos y á todas sus hijas, á cada uno su parte.

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

der Hanna aber gab er einen doppelten Anteil, denn er hatte Hanna lieber, obgleich der HERR ihr Kinder versagt hatte.

Mas á Anna daba una parte escogida; porque amaba á Anna, aunque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

but he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved Hannah, but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Dann kränkte aber ihre Nebenfrau sie mit lieblosen Reden, um sie zu ärgern, weil der HERR ihr Kindersegen versagt hatte.

Y su competidora la irritaba, enojándola y entristeciéndola, porque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Her rival provoked her severely, to irritate her, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

So ging es Jahr für Jahr: so oft sie zum Hause des HERRN hinaufzog, kränkte jene sie so, daß sie weinte und nichts aß.

Y así hacía cada año: cuando subía á la casa de Jehová, enojaba así á la otra; por lo cual ella lloraba, y no comía.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

So year by year, when she went up to the LORD’s house, her rival provoked her. Therefore she wept, and didn’t eat.

Elkana, ihr Gatte, fragte sie dann: »Hanna, warum weinst du, und warum issest du nicht, und warum bist du so betrübt? Bin ich dir nicht mehr wert als zehn Söhne?«

Y Elcana su marido le dijo: Anna, ¿por qué lloras? ¿y por qué no comes? ¿y por qué está afligido tu corazón? ¿No te soy yo mejor que diez hijos?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

Als man nun einst wieder in Silo in der Halle gegessen und getrunken hatte, stand Hanna auf und trat vor den HERRN, während der Priester Eli gerade auf dem Stuhl an einem der Türpfosten des Tempels des HERRN saß.

Y levantóse Anna después que hubo comido y bebido en Silo; y mientras el sacerdote Eli estaba sentado en una silla junto á un pilar del templo de Jehová,

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.

In tiefer Bekümmernis und unter vielen Tränen betete sie zum HERRN

Ella con amargura de alma oró á Jehová, y lloró abundantemente.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly.

und sprach folgendes Gelübde aus: »Gott, HERR der Heerscharen! Wenn du das Elend deiner Magd ansehen und meiner gedenken und deine Magd nicht vergessen willst und deiner Magd einen männlichen Sproß schenkst, so will ich ihn dir, HERR, für sein ganzes Leben weihen, und kein Schermesser soll an sein Haupt kommen.«

E hizo voto, diciendo: Jehová de los ejércitos, si te dignares mirar la aflicción de tu sierva, y te acordares de mí, y no te olvidares de tu sierva, mas dieres á tu sierva un hijo varón, yo lo dedicaré á Jehová todos los días de su vida, y no subirá navaja sobre su cabeza.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

She vowed a vow, and said, “LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”

Als sie nun lange Zeit so vor dem HERRN betete, stieg in Eli, der ihren Mund beobachtete –

Y fué que como ella orase largamente delante de Jehová, Eli estaba observando la boca de ella.

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

Hanna redete nämlich leise für sich, nur ihre Lippen bewegten sich, während man ihre Stimme nicht hören konnte –, der Gedanke auf, sie sei trunken;

Mas Anna hablaba en su corazón, y solamente se movían sus labios, y su voz no se oía; y túvola Eli por borracha.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

und er sagte zu ihr: »Wie lange willst du dich noch wie eine Trunkene benehmen? Werde endlich wieder nüchtern!«

Entonces le dijo Eli: ¿Hasta cuándo estarás borracha?; digiere tu vino.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Da erwiderte ihm Hanna: »Ach nein, Herr, ich bin eine unglückliche Frau! Wein und berauschende Getränke habe ich nicht genossen, sondern mein Herz vor dem HERRN ausgeschüttet.

Y Anna le respondió, diciendo: No, señor mío: mas yo soy una mujer trabajada de espíritu: no he bebido vino ni sidra, sino que he derramado mi alma delante de Jehová.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or strong drink, but I poured out my soul before the LORD.

Halte deine Magd nicht für ein verworfenes Weib! Denn nur infolge meiner großen Bekümmernis und Traurigkeit habe ich so lange gebetet.«

No tengas á tu sierva por una mujer impía: porque por la magnitud de mis congojas y de mi aflicción he hablado hasta ahora.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Don’t consider your servant a wicked woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation.”

Da entgegnete ihr Eli: »Gehe hin in Frieden! Der Gott Israels möge dir die Bitte gewähren, die du an ihn gerichtet hast!«

Y Eli respondió, y dijo: Ve en paz, y el Dios de Israel te otorgue la petición que le has hecho.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

Sie erwiderte: »Laß deine Magd deiner Huld empfohlen sein!« Damit ging die Frau ihres Weges und aß, und ihr trauriges Aussehen war verschwunden.

Y ella dijo: Halle tu sierva gracia delante de tus ojos. Y fuése la mujer su camino, y comió, y no estuvo más triste.

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

She said, “Let your servant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate; and her facial expression wasn’t sad any more.

Am andern Morgen machten sie sich früh auf und verrichteten ihre Andacht vor dem HERRN, und als sie dann in ihr Haus nach Rama zurückgekehrt waren und Elkana zu seiner Frau einging, da gedachte der HERR der Hanna:

Y levantándose de mañana, adoraron delante de Jehová, y volviéronse, y vinieron á su casa en Ramatha. Y Elcana conoció á Anna su mujer, y Jehová se acordó de ella.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

sie wurde guter Hoffnung, und als die Zeit um war, gebar sie einen Sohn, dem sie den Namen Samuel gab; »denn«, sagte sie, »vom HERRN habe ich ihn erbeten.«

Y fué que corrido el tiempo, después de haber concebido Anna, parió un hijo, y púsole por nombre Samuel, diciendo: Por cuanto lo demandé á Jehová.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”

Als dann ihr Mann Elkana mit seiner ganzen Familie wieder hinaufzog, um dem HERRN das jährliche Schlachtopfer und, was er gelobt hatte, darzubringen,

Después subió el varón Elcana, con toda su familia, á sacrificar á Jehová el sacrificio acostumbrado, y su voto.

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

ging Hanna nicht mit hinauf; denn sie hatte zu ihrem Manne gesagt: »Der Knabe soll erst entwöhnt sein; dann will ich ihn hinbringen, damit er vor dem HERRN erscheint und für immer dort bleibt.«

Mas Anna no subió, sino dijo á su marido: Yo no subiré hasta que el niño sea destetado; para que lo lleve y sea presentado delante de Jehová, y se quede allá para siempre.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and stay there forever.”

Da hatte Elkana, ihr Mann, ihr erwidert: »Mache es so, wie du es für gut hältst: bleibe daheim, bis du ihn entwöhnt hast! Nur möge der HERR seine Verheißung in Erfüllung gehen lassen!« So blieb denn die Frau daheim und nährte ihren Sohn bis zu seiner Entwöhnung.

Y Elcana su marido le respondió: Haz lo que bien te pareciere; quédate hasta que lo destetes: solamente Jehová cumpla su palabra. Y quedóse la mujer, y crió su hijo hasta que lo destetó.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Sobald sie ihn aber entwöhnt hatte, nahm sie ihn mit sich hinauf nebst einem dreijährigen Stier, einem Epha Mehl und einem Schlauch Wein: so brachte sie den Knaben, wiewohl er noch sehr jung war, in das Gotteshaus nach Silo.

Y después que lo hubo destetado, llevólo consigo, con tres becerros, y un epha de harina, y una vasija de vino, y trájolo á la casa de Jehová en Silo: y el niño era pequeño.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

Als sie dort den Stier geopfert hatten und sie den Knaben zu Eli brachten,

Y matando el becerro, trajeron el niño á Eli.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

sagte die Mutter (zu Eli): »Verzeihe, mein Herr! So wahr du lebst, mein Herr: ich bin die Frau, die einst hier bei dir gestanden hat, um zum HERRN zu beten.

Y ella dijo: ¡Oh, señor mío! vive tu alma, señor mío, yo soy aquella mujer que estuvo aquí junto á ti orando á Jehová.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.

Um diesen Knaben habe ich damals gebetet; nun hat der HERR mir die Bitte gewährt, die ich ihm vorgetragen habe.

Por este niño oraba, y Jehová me dió lo que le pedí.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

So habe denn auch ich ihn dem HERRN geweiht: solange er lebt, soll er dem HERRN geweiht sein!« Hierauf beteten sie dort den HERRN an.

Yo pues le vuelvo también á Jehová: todos los días que viviere, será de Jehová. Y adoró allí á Jehová.

Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

Therefore I have also given him to the LORD. As long as he lives he is given to the LORD.” He worshiped the LORD there.
