1 Samuel 1

Havia um certo homem de Ramataim-Zofim, da região montanhosa de Efraim; seu nome era Elcana, filho de Jeroão, filho de Eliú, filho de Toú, filho de Zufe, um efraimita.

HUBO un varón de Ramathaim de Sophim, del monte de Ephraim, que se llamaba Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliú, hijo de Thohu, hijo de Suph, Ephrateo.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the hill country of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.

Ele teve duas esposas: o nome da primeira era Ana, e o nome da segunda, Penina. Penina teve filhos, mas Ana não os teve.

Y tenía él dos mujeres; el nombre de la una era Anna, y el nombre de la otra Peninna. Y Peninna tenía hijos, mas Anna no los tenía.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

He had two wives. The name of one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Esse homem ia de sua cidade, ano após ano, para adorar e sacrificar a Yahweh dos Exércitos, em Siló. Os dois filhos de Eli, Hofni e Fineias, sacerdotes de Yahweh, estavam lá.

Y subía aquel varón todos los años de su ciudad, á adorar y sacrificar á Jehová de los ejércitos en Silo, donde estaban dos hijos de Eli, Ophni y Phinees, sacerdotes de Jehová.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

This man went up out of his city from year to year to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of Armies in Shiloh. The two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, priests to the LORD, were there.

Quando o dia do sacrifício anual vinha a Elcana, ele sempre trazia porções de carne para Penina, sua mulher, e para todos os seus filhos e filhas.

Y cuando venía el día, Elcana sacrificaba, y daba á Peninna su mujer, y á todos sus hijos y á todas sus hijas, á cada uno su parte.

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

When the day came that Elkanah sacrificed, he gave portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and her daughters;

Mas para Ana ele sempre trazia uma porção dobrada, pois a amava, embora Yahweh tivesse fechado o seu útero.

Mas á Anna daba una parte escogida; porque amaba á Anna, aunque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

but he gave a double portion to Hannah, for he loved Hannah, but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Sua rival a provocava severamente a fim de irritá-la, pois Yaweh fechara seu útero.

Y su competidora la irritaba, enojándola y entristeciéndola, porque Jehová había cerrado su matriz.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Her rival provoked her severely, to irritate her, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Então, ano após ano, quando ela subia à casa de Yahweh com sua família, sua rival sempre a provocava. Assim, ela costumava chorar e não comer nada.

Y así hacía cada año: cuando subía á la casa de Jehová, enojaba así á la otra; por lo cual ella lloraba, y no comía.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

So year by year, when she went up to the LORD’s house, her rival provoked her. Therefore she wept, and didn’t eat.

Elcana, seu marido, sempre lhe falava: "Ana, por que choras? Por que não comes? Por que o seu coração está triste? Não sou eu para ti melhor do que dez filhos?".

Y Elcana su marido le dijo: Anna, ¿por qué lloras? ¿y por qué no comes? ¿y por qué está afligido tu corazón? ¿No te soy yo mejor que diez hijos?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? Why don’t you eat? Why is your heart grieved? Am I not better to you than ten sons?”

Em uma dessas ocasiões, Ana levantou-se quando eles terminaram de comer e beber, em Siló. Eli, o sacerdote, estava sentado em sua cadeira, junto à porta da casa de Yahweh.

Y levantóse Anna después que hubo comido y bebido en Silo; y mientras el sacerdote Eli estaba sentado en una silla junto á un pilar del templo de Jehová,

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

So Hannah rose up after they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his seat by the doorpost of the LORD’s temple.

Profundamente angustiada, Ana orou a Yahweh e chorou amargamente.

Ella con amargura de alma oró á Jehová, y lloró abundantemente.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly.

Ela fez um voto e disse: "Yahweh dos Exércitos, se Tu olhares a aflição de Tua serva e Te lembrares de mim, e não esqueceres de Tua serva, mas deres um filho à Tua serva, então o entregarei a Ti todos os dias de sua vida; e navalha alguma tocará sua cabeça".

E hizo voto, diciendo: Jehová de los ejércitos, si te dignares mirar la aflicción de tu sierva, y te acordares de mí, y no te olvidares de tu sierva, mas dieres á tu sierva un hijo varón, yo lo dedicaré á Jehová todos los días de su vida, y no subirá navaja sobre su cabeza.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

She vowed a vow, and said, “LORD of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a boy, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.”

Enquanto ela estava orando a Yahweh, Eli observava sua boca.

Y fué que como ella orase largamente delante de Jehová, Eli estaba observando la boca de ella.

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

As she continued praying before the LORD, Eli saw her mouth.

Ana falava em seu coração. Seus lábios moviam-se, porém, sua voz não era ouvida. Eli pensou que ela estivesse bêbada.

Mas Anna hablaba en su corazón, y solamente se movían sus labios, y su voz no se oía; y túvola Eli por borracha.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Now Hannah spoke in her heart. Only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.

Ele falou a ela: "Por quanto tempo ficarás embriagada? Livra-te de teu vinho!".

Entonces le dijo Eli: ¿Hasta cuándo estarás borracha?; digiere tu vino.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

Eli said to her, “How long will you be drunk? Get rid of your wine!”

Ana respondeu: "Não, meu mestre, eu sou uma mulher de espírito abatido. Não bebi vinho nem bebida forte, mas estou derramando minha alma diante de Yahweh.

Y Anna le respondió, diciendo: No, señor mío: mas yo soy una mujer trabajada de espíritu: no he bebido vino ni sidra, sino que he derramado mi alma delante de Jehová.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit. I have not been drinking wine or strong drink, but I poured out my soul before the LORD.

Não considere tua serva como uma mulher sem vergonha; tenho falado da minha grande preocupação e provocação".

No tengas á tu sierva por una mujer impía: porque por la magnitud de mis congojas y de mi aflicción he hablado hasta ahora.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Don’t consider your servant a wicked woman; for I have been speaking out of the abundance of my complaint and my provocation.”

Então, Eli respondeu e disse: "Vá em paz. Que o Deus de Israel conceda o que pediste a Ele".

Y Eli respondió, y dijo: Ve en paz, y el Dios de Israel te otorgue la petición que le has hecho.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace; and may the God of Israel grant your petition that you have asked of him.”

Ela disse: "Que tua serva ache favor à tua vista". Então, a mulher seguiu no seu caminho e comeu; seu semblante não mais era triste.

Y ella dijo: Halle tu sierva gracia delante de tus ojos. Y fuése la mujer su camino, y comió, y no estuvo más triste.

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

She said, “Let your servant find favor in your sight.” So the woman went her way and ate; and her facial expression wasn’t sad any more.

Eles se levantaram cedo pela manhã e adoraram a Yahweh. E voltaram para sua casa, em Ramá. Elcana dormiu com Ana, sua esposa, e Yahweh lembrou-se dela.

Y levantándose de mañana, adoraron delante de Jehová, y volviéronse, y vinieron á su casa en Ramatha. Y Elcana conoció á Anna su mujer, y Jehová se acordó de ella.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

They rose up in the morning early and worshiped the LORD, then returned and came to their house to Ramah. Then Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

Quando veio o tempo, Ana concebeu e deu à luz um filho. Ela o chamou de Samuel, dizendo: "Porque pedi por ele a Yahweh".

Y fué que corrido el tiempo, después de haber concebido Anna, parió un hijo, y púsole por nombre Samuel, diciendo: Por cuanto lo demandé á Jehová.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

When the time had come, Hannah conceived, and bore a son; and she named him Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked him of the LORD.”

Uma vez mais, Elcana e toda a sua casa foram oferecer a Yahweh o sacrifício anual e pagar seu voto.

Después subió el varón Elcana, con toda su familia, á sacrificar á Jehová el sacrificio acostumbrado, y su voto.

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

The man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice and his vow.

Mas Ana não foi. Ela havia falado ao seu marido: "Eu não irei até que a criança desmame; então, eu o levarei para que ele possa aparecer perante Yahweh e viver lá para sempre".

Mas Anna no subió, sino dijo á su marido: Yo no subiré hasta que el niño sea destetado; para que lo lleve y sea presentado delante de Jehová, y se quede allá para siempre.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

But Hannah didn’t go up, for she said to her husband, “Not until the child is weaned; then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and stay there forever.”

Elcana falou-lhe: "Faça o que te parecer bem. Espere até desmamá-lo; somente possa Yahweh confirmar Sua palavra". Então, a mulher ficou e cuidou de seu filho até desmamá-lo.

Y Elcana su marido le respondió: Haz lo que bien te pareciere; quédate hasta que lo destetes: solamente Jehová cumpla su palabra. Y quedóse la mujer, y crió su hijo hasta que lo destetó.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems good to you. Wait until you have weaned him; only may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman waited and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Quando ela o desmamou, levou-o com ela, juntamente com um touro de três anos, uma efa de refeição e uma garrafa de vinho, e o levou à casa de Yahweh, em Siló. A criança ainda era nova.

Y después que lo hubo destetado, llevólo consigo, con tres becerros, y un epha de harina, y una vasija de vino, y trájolo á la casa de Jehová en Silo: y el niño era pequeño.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

When she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bulls, and one ephah of meal, and a container of wine, and brought him to the LORD’s house in Shiloh. The child was young.

Eles mataram o touro, e trouxeram a criança para Eli.

Y matando el becerro, trajeron el niño á Eli.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

They killed the bull, and brought the child to Eli.

Ela disse: "Ó, meu mestre! Assim como vives, meu mestre, eu sou a mulher que esteve aqui, próxima a ti, orando a Yahweh.

Y ella dijo: ¡Oh, señor mío! vive tu alma, señor mío, yo soy aquella mujer que estuvo aquí junto á ti orando á Jehová.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

She said, “Oh, my lord, as your soul lives, my lord, I am the woman who stood by you here, praying to the LORD.

Por essa criança eu orei e Yahweh me concedeu a petição que fiz a Ele.

Por este niño oraba, y Jehová me dió lo que le pedí.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has given me my petition which I asked of him.

Eu o entreguei a Yahweh; enquanto ele viver será cedido a Yahweh". E Elcana e sua família adoraram a Yahweh ali.

Yo pues le vuelvo también á Jehová: todos los días que viviere, será de Jehová. Y adoró allí á Jehová.

Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

Therefore I have also given him to the LORD. As long as he lives he is given to the LORD.” He worshiped the LORD there.
