Ese mismo día se encontraba allí un servidor de Saúl llamado Doeg el edomita, que era el jefe de los pastores de Saúl; estaba cumpliendo un rito ante el Señor.

Aquel día estaba allí uno de los siervos de Saúl detenido delante de Jehová, el nombre del cual era Doeg, Idumeo, principal de los pastores de Saúl.
