18E il re disse a Doeg: Volgiti tu, ed avventati sopra questi sacerdoti. E Doeg Idumeo, rivoltosi, si avventò sopra i sacerdoti, ed uccise in quel dì ottantacinque uomini che portavano l'Efod di lino.

18And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.
World English Bible
18The king said to Doeg, “Turn and attack the priests!” Doeg the Edomite turned, and he attacked the priests, and he killed on that day eighty-five people who wore a linen ephod.
