1 Samuel 22

Más tarde David fue a Mizpa de Moab a pedirle permiso al rey para que su padre y su madre vivieran allí bajo la protección real hasta que él supiera lo que Dios iba a hacer con él.

Y fuése David de allí á Mizpa de Moab, y dijo al rey de Moab: Yo te ruego que mi padre y mi madre estén con vosotros, hasta que sepa lo que Dios hará de mí.

And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out to you, until I know what God will do for me.”
