1 Samuel 22

Mais tarde Davi foi a Mispá, em Moabe, e disse ao rei de Moabe: “Posso deixar meu pai e minha mãe morarem aqui sob a proteção real, até que eu saiba o que Deus quer de mim?”

Y fuése David de allí á Mizpa de Moab, y dijo al rey de Moab: Yo te ruego que mi padre y mi madre estén con vosotros, hasta que sepa lo que Dios hará de mí.

And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out to you, until I know what God will do for me.”
