1 Samuel 22

Or David partit de là, et se sauva dans la caverne d’Hadullam ; ce que ses frères et toute la maison de son père ayant appris, ils descendirent là vers lui.

Y YÉNDOSE David de allí escapóse á la cueva de Adullam; lo cual como oyeron sus hermanos y toda la casa de su padre, vinieron allí á él.

David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father’s house heard it, they went down thither to him.

Tous ceux aussi qui étaient mal dans leurs affaires, et qui avaient des créanciers dont ils étaient tourmentés, et qui avaient le coeur plein d’amertume, s’assemblèrent vers lui, et il fut leur chef ; et il y eut avec lui environ quatre cents hommes.

Y juntáronse con él todos los afligidos, y todo el que estaba adeudado, y todos los que se hallaban en amargura de espíritu, y fué hecho capitán de ellos: y tuvo consigo como cuatrocientos hombres.

And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

Et David s’en alla de là à Mitspé de Moab ; et il dit au Roi de Moab : Je te prie que mon père et ma mère se retirent vers vous jusqu’à ce que je sache ce que Dieu fera de moi.

Y fuése David de allí á Mizpa de Moab, y dijo al rey de Moab: Yo te ruego que mi padre y mi madre estén con vosotros, hasta que sepa lo que Dios hará de mí.

And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

David went from there to Mizpeh of Moab; and he said to the king of Moab, “Please let my father and my mother come out to you, until I know what God will do for me.”

Et il les amena devant le Roi de Moab, et ils demeurèrent avec lui, tout le temps que David fut dans cette forteresse.

Trájolos pues á la presencia del rey de Moab, y habitaron con él todo el tiempo que David estuvo en la fortaleza.

And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.

Or Gad le prophète dit à David : Ne demeure point dans cette forteresse, mais va-t’en, et entre dans le pays de Juda. David donc s’en alla, et vint en la forêt de Hérets.

Y Gad profeta dijo á David: No te estés en esta fortaleza, pártete, y vete á tierra de Judá. Y David se partió, y vino al bosque de Hareth.

And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.

The prophet Gad said to David, “Don’t stay in the stronghold. Depart, and go into the land of Judah.” Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hereth.

Et Saül apprit qu’on avait découvert David et les gens qui étaient avec lui. Or Saül était assis au coteau sous un chêne à Rama, ayant sa hallebarde en sa main, et tous ses serviteurs se tenaient devant lui.

Y oyó Saúl como había parecido David, y los que estaban con él. Estaba entonces Saúl en Gabaa debajo de un árbol en Rama, y tenía su lanza en su mano, y todos sus criados estaban en derredor de él.

When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)

Et Saül dit à ses serviteurs qui se tenaient devant lui : Ecoutez maintenant, Benjamites : Le fils d’Isaï vous donnera-t-il à vous tous des champs et des vignes ? Vous établira-t-il tous gouverneurs sur milliers, et sur centaines ?

Y dijo Saúl á sus criados que estaban en derredor de él: Oid ahora, hijos de Benjamín: ¿Os dará también á todos vosotros el hijo de Isaí tierras y viñas, y os hará á todos tribunos y centuriones;

Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

Saul said to his servants who stood around him, “Hear now, you Benjamites! Will the son of Jesse give everyone of you fields and vineyards? Will he make you all captains of thousands and captains of hundreds?

Que vous ayez tous conspiré contre moi, et qu’il n’y ait personne qui m’avertisse que mon fils a fait alliance avec le fils d’Isaï, et qu’il n’y ait aucun de vous qui ait pitié de moi, et qui m’avertisse ; car mon fils a suscité mon serviteur contre moi pour me dresser des embûches, comme il paraît aujourd’hui.

Que todos vosotros habéis conspirado contra mí, y no hay quien me descubra al oído como mi hijo ha hecho alianza con el hijo de Isaí, ni alguno de vosotros que se duela de mí, y me descubra como mi hijo ha levantado á mi siervo contra mí, para que me aceche, según hace hoy día?

That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that sheweth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or sheweth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

Is that why all of you have conspired against me, and there is no one who discloses to me when my son makes a treaty with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you who is sorry for me, or discloses to me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”

Alors Doëg Iduméen, qui était établi sur les serviteurs de Saül, répondit, et dit : J’ai vu le fils d’Isaï venir à Nob vers Ahimélec fils d’Ahitub ;

Entonces Doeg Idumeo, que era superior entre los siervos de Saúl, respondió y dijo: Yo vi al hijo de Isaí que vino á Nob, á Ahimelech hijo de Ahitob;

Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.

Then Doeg the Edomite, who stood by the servants of Saul, answered and said, “I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.

Qui a consulté l’Eternel pour lui, et lui a donné des vivres, et l’épée de Goliath le Philistin.

El cual consultó por él á Jehová, y dióle provisión, y también le dió la espada de Goliath el Filisteo.

And he enquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.

He inquired of the LORD for him, gave him food, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”

Alors le Roi envoya appeler Ahimélec le Sacrificateur fils d’Ahitub, et toute la famille de son père, savoir les Sacrificateurs qui étaient à Nob ; et ils vinrent tous vers le Roi.

Y el rey envió por el sacerdote Ahimelech hijo de Ahitob, y por toda la casa de su padre, los sacerdotes que estaban en Nob: y todos vinieron al rey.

Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father’s house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.

Et Saül dit : Ecoute maintenant, fils d’Ahitub ; et il répondit : Me voici, mon Seigneur.

Y Saúl le dijo: Oye ahora, hijo de Ahitob. Y él dijo: Heme aquí, señor mío.

And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.

Alors Saül lui dit : Pourquoi avez-vous conspiré contre moi, toi et le fils d’Isaï, vu que tu lui as donné du pain, et une épée, et que tu as consulté Dieu pour lui, afin qu’il s’élevât contre moi pour me dresser des embûches, comme il paraît aujourd’hui.

Y díjole Saúl: ¿Por qué habéis conspirado contra mí, tú y el hijo de Isaí, cuando tú le diste pan y espada, y consultaste por él á Dios, para que se levantase contra mí y me acechase, como lo hace hoy día?

And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast enquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

Saul said to him, “Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”

Et Ahimélec répondit au Roi, et dit : Entre tous tes serviteurs y en a-t-il un comme David, qui est fidèle, et gendre du Roi, et qui est parti par ton commandement, et qui est si honoré en ta maison ?

Entonces Ahimelech respondió al rey, y dijo: ¿Y quién entre todos tus siervos es tan fiel como David, yerno además del rey, y que va por tu mandado, y es ilustre en tu casa?

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king’s son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honourable in thine house?

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, “Who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king’s son-in-law, captain of your body guard, and honored in your house?

Ai-je commencé aujourd’hui à consulter Dieu pour lui ? A Dieu ne plaise ! Que le Roi ne charge donc d’aucune chose son serviteur, ni toute la maison de mon père ; car ton serviteur ne sait chose ni petite ni grande de tout ceci.

¿He comenzado yo desde hoy á consultar por él á Dios? lejos sea de mí: no impute el rey cosa alguna á su siervo, ni á toda la casa de mi padre; porque tu siervo ninguna cosa sabe de este negocio, grande ni chica.

Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.

Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? Be it far from me! Don’t let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.”

Et le Roi lui dit : Certainement tu mourras, Ahimélec, et toute la famille de ton père.

Y el rey dijo: Sin duda morirás, Ahimelech, tú y toda la casa de tu padre.

And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father’s house.

The king said, “You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you and all your father’s house.”

Alors le Roi dit aux archers qui se tenaient devant lui : Tournez- vous, et faites mourir les Sacrificateurs de l’Eternel ; car ils sont aussi de la faction de David parce qu’ils ont bien su qu’il s’enfuyait, et qu’ils ne m’en ont point averti. Mais les serviteurs du Roi ne voulurent point étendre leurs mains, pour se jeter sur les Sacrificateurs de l’Eternel.

Entonces dijo el rey á la gente de su guardia que estaba alrededor de él: Cercad y matad á los sacerdotes de Jehová; porque también la mano de ellos es con David, pues sabiendo ellos que huía, no me lo descubrieron. Mas los siervos del rey no quisieron extender sus manos para matar á los sacerdotes de Jehová.

And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD; because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not shew it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.

The king said to the guard who stood about him, “Turn and kill the priests of the LORD, because their hand also is with David, and because they knew that he fled and didn’t disclose it to me.” But the servants of the king wouldn’t put out their hand to fall on the priests of the LORD.

Alors le Roi dit à Doëg : Tourne-toi, et te jette sur les Sacrificateurs ; et Doëg Iduméen se tourna, et se jeta sur les Sacrificateurs ; et il tua en ce jour-là quatre vingt cinq hommes qui portaient l’Ephod de lin.

Entonces dijo el rey á Doeg: Vuelve tú, y arremete contra los sacerdotes. Y revolviéndose Doeg Idumeo, arremetió contra los sacerdotes, y mató en aquel día ochenta y cinco varones que vestían ephod de lino.

And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.

The king said to Doeg, “Turn and attack the priests!” Doeg the Edomite turned, and he attacked the priests, and he killed on that day eighty-five people who wore a linen ephod.

Et il fit passer Nob, ville des Sacrificateurs, au fil de l’épée, les hommes et les femmes, les grands et ceux qui tètent, même il fit passer les boeufs, les ânes, et le menu bétail au fil de l’épée.

Y á Nob, ciudad de los sacerdotes, puso á cuchillo: así á hombres como á mujeres, niños y mamantes, bueyes y asnos y ovejas, todo á cuchillo.

And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

He struck Nob, the city of the priests, with the edge of the sword—both men and women, children and nursing babies, and cattle, donkeys, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

Toutefois un des fils d’Ahimélec, fils d’Ahitub, qui avait nom Abiathar, se sauva, et s’enfuit auprès de David.

Mas uno de los hijos de Ahimelech hijo de Ahitob, que se llamaba Abiathar, escapó, y huyóse á David.

And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.

Et Abiathar rapporta à David, que Saül avait tué les Sacrificateurs de l’Eternel.

Y Abiathar notició á David como Saúl había muerto los sacerdotes de Jehová.

And Abiathar shewed David that Saul had slain the LORD’s priests.

Et David dit à Abiathar : Je connus bien en ce jour-là, puisque Doëg Iduméen était là, qu’il ne manquerait pas de le rapporter à Saül ; je suis cause de ce qui est arrivé à toutes les personnes de la famille de ton père.

Y dijo David á Abiathar: Yo sabía que estando allí aquel día Doeg el Idumeo, él lo había de hacer saber á Saúl. Yo he dado ocasión contra todas las personas de la casa de tu padre.

And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father’s house.

David said to Abiathar, “I knew on that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul. I am responsible for the death of all the persons of your father’s house.

Demeure avec moi, ne crains point ; car celui qui cherche ma vie, cherche la tienne ; certainement tu seras gardé avec moi.

Quédate conmigo, no temas: quien buscare mi vida, buscará también la tuya: bien que tú estarás conmigo guardado.

Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.

Stay with me. Don’t be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life. You will be safe with me.”
